The site will also accommodate a children’s nursery and an associated outside play space, operated by the well established N. family club.

41 Blackheath Grove is located c.40m from Blackheath train station with access to central London in 23 minutes. Currently in the process of being vacated, the property site was home to Royal Mail as a sorting office.
The building is accompanied by 3 traditional grade II telephone boxes that are situated just outside the building.
The site comprises of a two-storey Royal Mail Post Office in the west corner, while a single storey sorting office resides in the centre. In the eastern end of the building is a single storey depot.
The existing depot and sorting hall is in the process of being vacated, with Royal Mail operations being consolidated at the Charlton and Greenwich Delivery Office. The existing Post Office located at ground floor will continue tooperate.

9 New High-quality Homes on Blackheath Grove

Homes will be fitted with triple glazing and super insulation as part of important sustainabity measures. 41 Blackheath Grove will deliver 9 new 2–3-bedroom homes. 3 homes will be created by the conversion of the first floor and vertical extension above the post office. 6 new homes will be created in a new building residing on east side of the development.
Nursery
Replacing the sorting office will be a brand-new children’s nursery.
Newcore Capital Management have made extensive efforts to understand the needs of the local community. In doing this, they believe that the provision of a Nursery will help meet existing demand and also provide opportunities for employment.
The brand-new nursery will benefit from a large inside play and working space while also having access to outside play space.
