WEST END GATE 2022 COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT AT WEST END GATE In August, ten staff members of staff Berkeley picked up a paintbrush to refresh classrooms at Christ Church Bentinck School ahead of the new academic year. Volunteers were tasked with preparing and painting three classrooms over the course of the day. The previous paintwork had become scuffed and worn and the school were keen for children to return in September to a clean and fresh environment. 10 staff got involved providing 50 hours of volunteer time for the project. Mrs Tyrrell, Headteacher of Christ Church Bentinck CE Primary School, who was there to oversee the project, said: “The group were an absolute delight to work with and it was fantastic to see them prep, paint and clear all three classrooms so neatly in such a short space of time. As a school we are always tight on funding, so this thoughtful gesture will go such a long way.”
