Iconic License has used its spring/summer 2021 to showcase what I call "stylish practicability." The video they created for FNL Network features a woman climbing monkey bars, roller skating, and riding

a motorcycle while wearing their feminine designs. It highlights style above all else and shows that you dress for any occasion-- no matter what you may be doing. As an NYC brand, Marina Micanovic

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

understands what it's like to have a busy lifestyle and always be on the go; because of this, she created the Ukiyo Bag. Ukiyo is a Japanese term that describes an urban lifestyle and refers to living in the moment and being detached from your problems.

Mayakovsky as his inspiration for his SS21 collection.

International Digital Fashion Week features talented designers such as Valentin Yudashkin, Amato Couture, Marc Cain, SAJAS, Nizie, Brand Dongak, ASPARA, and many more. These designers have used their creative minds to make fashion films that allow us all to have a VIP frontrow seat to their shows.

Because the collection was done remotely, Yudashkin had the brilliant idea of using fabrics from past seasons so that he knew the feel and look of them before beginning the design process.

From Russia, Valentin Yudashkin used Russian poet Vladimir

Astra inclinant, sed non-obligate-- or “The stars incline us, they do not bind us,” was the theme for the Amato Couture show. This quote was artistically represented through the use of gauze covering the model’s faces, some of which were veiled with stars.

The avant-garde looks, along with the dramatic movement of the models, did a flawless job of creating a story that showed freewill. Filipino designer Furne, One of Amato Couture, created extravagant looks using lace and bead appliques.

© Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

He does an exceptional job at contrasting drama and beauty with each gown by mixing spider, lizard, and horn accessories with feminine staples such as pearls and feathers. This couture show was perfectly done.

Katja Foos of german luxury company Marc Cain used her SS21 collection to take us on a journey and let us know that the sky is the limit.

She takes us from meadows of flowers to exotic jungles and then up into the clouds by giving us looks that include magnificent florals, classic animal prints, and sophisticated

monochromatic pieces.

The Marc Cain spring/summer 2021 collection showed us how to be powerful and confident in the way that we dress.

The Saudi Arabian fashion brand SAJAS showcased on International Digital Fashion Week to show their very first couture show. The collection was named Origin after the Al-Ahsa region, where their headquarters is located. Designer Saha Al-Youssef created innovative looks by taking classic silhouettes and colors and making them her own.

By utilizing dramatic cuts and padding, she gives an edge to traditional styles and refines the looks with gorgeous silver jewelry and elegant handbags. Crimean Tatar Nizie Emirshah of the fashion brand NIZIE showed a cohesive collection where the looks complimented each other perfectly, and the attention to detail was apparent. She used the same pattern in multiple looks to create a show with a clear vision. My

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

favorite detail was the skirt that had an inseam that matched the jacket of the outfit. Emirshah created edgy streetwear looks that utilized the latest fashion trends uniquely. She played on the blazer trend by designing a cropped blazer with cutouts and a one-sided asymmetrical blazer. Nizie Emirshah is a designer who thinks differently and makes fabulous fashion because of it.

Yudashkin did an amazing job of incorporating a multitude of silhouettes while still keeping the collection cohesive. He played on masculine and feminine styles to create a show that appeals to everyone.

Whether you are looking for high-waisted wide-leg pants and an oversized blazer, or a delicate gown,

Valentin Yudashkin Spring/Summer 2021 has something that is perfectly tailored to you and your lifestyle.

Brand Dongak from the Republic of Tyra showed both men’s and women’s looks in their International Digital Fashion Week video. The collection was sophisticated yet fresh.

The video told a story of nomadic tribes and how they left costumes, legends, and myths passed down from generation to generation and impacted modern clothing. The looks are beautifully done to represent the cultural significance of this.

ASPARA from Taraz, Kazakhstan, used timeless black and white fabric to create classic pieces.

International Digital Fashion Week has allowed designers worldwide to show off their latest collections in one place, which has led fashion lovers everywhere to discover new brands and designs. IDFW Designers Feature#2 Concept & Idea Saif Rahman Sozib Contributor Seana Crane International Digital Fashion Week on FNL Network features hundreds of designers worldwide in one

electronic place. In my last article, I discussed the shows of Valentin Yudashkin, Amato Couture, Marc Cain,

SAJAS, Nizie, Brand Dongak, and ASPARA. Today I will be reviewing the talents of Urban, Dr. Zwack, Carlous Palmer Designs, Georgina Jewelry, Iconic License, and Marina Micanovic.

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

Urban is a brand from Mongolia. DULAM, the designer for Urban, created a fall/winter 2021 show that was a mix of Mongolian clothing and modern streetwear. The influence of traditional pieces on the collection was perfectly shown in the video they created for IDFW.

It starts out by showing beautiful classic pieces in black and white and accessorized with pearls and then moves into a club scene showcasing items such as mock necks, fitted silhouettes, and dark colors.

DULAM did an exceptional job of bringing edge and freshness to Mongolian clothing.

American brand Dr. Zwack based their spring/summer 2021 collection off of the theme CONDOR. The bird, along with other animals, is represented on the clothing throughout this gorgeous bohemian collection.

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

CONDOR brings viewers back to nature with the snakeskin prints and earth tones. It includes trends such as fringe, halters, and tiered fabric. Dr. Zwack's spring/summer 2021 collection is effortlessly beautiful and evokes feelings of freedom like the great condor.

The outfits were cutting-edge, using original features such as the top that transforms from a tie around the neck to a

flowing maxi. Aspects like the boxy jackets and corsets create the perfect balance between

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

streetwear and sophisticated designs. This is definitely a show to watch.

Carlous Palmer Designs' L'ALLE DES GRAFFITIS (the alley of graffiti) is a futuristic streetwear collection. It features tshirts, jackets, and pants decorated in graffiti, taking street fashion in a very literal way. The video was an innovative spin on a typical runway show using computer-

generated models to present the looks. Overall, this is a mustwatch. This bag can be worn in three different ways: as a backpack, as a shoulder bag, or held like a clutch. When plans change in the blink of an eye, this bag can go from a stylish handbag completing any outfit to a practical backpack as you run downtown.

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

It's the perfect bag for any city girl.

IDFW on FNL Network has made it possible for hundreds of designers from 5 continents to show their art in one place, something never done before. I can't wait to see what's next for the network and all of the talents involved.

Carlous Palmer uses his knowledge of the fashion industry's environmental impact to create sustainable yet stylish fashion. He establishes with natural and ecological fabrics to lessen the effects of his art on our planet. The way he produces and the

unique looks he designs is a game-changer for the industry.

Georgina Jewelry is an American jewelry line designed by Georgina Herrera to empower

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

women. Their motto is "the connection between love, art, and tradition is unbreakable and determines who we are." From Mexico, Herrera combines her culture with the latest fashion trends to create breathtaking accessories.

Herrera wants her jewelry to empower and inspire any modern woman. She wants women to feel confident when wearing her designs, whether it be a casual day in the office or a night at a gala. This

theme of confidence is very apparent throughout the SS21 collection. The jewelry is bold yet elegant. It makes statements, yet it's simple. There is a piece

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

for everyone, and it would be impossible for a woman not to feel empowered to take on whatever life throws at her while wearing Georgina Jewelry spring/smmer 2021.

IDFW Designers Feature #3 Concept & idea Saif Rahman Sozib Contributor Seana Crane One of the most significant parts of International Digital Fashion Week on FNL Network is seeing the influence of different cultures worldwide on clothing. Today we will be looking at DellenKilten of

Helsingland, Jelena Malesevic, Gulnara Kassym, Weiling Chang, ChapanSar, Saja V Designs, Dana Ashimova, and Naggar.

DellenKilten of Helsingland is a Swedish brand. Their clothes include traditional Swedish pieces, more specifically kilts. A kilt can be worn as everyday wear or for

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

something more formal such as a wedding. DellenKIlten of Helsingland realized the versatility of this clothing item and based their brand around it. They focus on quality and make their kilts out of wool. Focus is placed on nature, and this is represented on IDFW as the models walk through ice and snow.

Serbian designer Jelena Malesevic created her spring/summer 2021 collection for MORFIUM based on the theme

"Transmission." Between the edgy pieces and the black and white video, a dark yet beautiful collection was made. There is something for

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

everybody by featuring several silhouettes and fabrics. From a simple gown to a futuristic mini, Malesevic does an exceptional job designing a collection that has a range.

Gulnara Kassym takes an elegant spin on Kazakhstan wear. The video includes a bold red coat adorned with sequins and a pastel pink dress styled two ways; first, it was styled with a long black jacket with an

embroidered detail on the back, and then with a short teal vest. The looks were accessorized with traditional pieces, including the headdress that is shown with every outfit.

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

Through these looks, you can see Kassym'sKassym's mission to maintain female strength, beauty, and confidence shine through.

ChapanSar is a brand by Zhumagal Sarieva from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, focuses on making environmentally friendly, comfortable, and high-quality pieces. ChapanSar's brand is

based on creating modern chapans and other traditional clothing. A chapan is a coat typically worn in central Asian countries. On-trend streetwear looks to influence the collection shown on IDFW.

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

The silhouettes of the coats are oversized/boxy, which is a trendy street looks. One of Sarieva's main goals is to spread her culture through her clothing, and this show does a great job of doing just that.

"Light as air" was the inspiration for

Weiling Chang'sChang's SS21 collection. Light fabrics were used to imitate a summer breeze with the clothing. These fabrics

were draped to create a silhouette that flows with the body. This, along with the use of pastels, creates perfect spring/summer clothing. Flower patterns, bell-bottoms, and the

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

aforementioned draped fabrics bring viewers of the show back to the 70s. Weiling Chang spring/summer 2021 will be essential when the first warm breeze hits next year.

As the Sanja

V

Designs show opens, we see the quote "catch the colors and stay free." The looks in this spring/summer 2021 collection are covered in animal prints and bright colors, representing this theme of freedom perfectly. Their IDFW video was filmed in different

scenes of nature, while the models danced around to show humans embracing their animal sides in Sanja V Designs. The Slovenian brand's mission is to have people wear their dreams. The bohemian collection gets people out of their comfort zone and opens a

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

different side of themselves, a side that is strong and confident. Between the zebra and cheetah prints and the bright reds and yellows, the Sanja V Designs SS21 is a daring collection that has viewers and consumers ready to "catch the colors and stay free."

In Rabat, Morocco,

Naggah filmed their Fall/Winter 2020 collection for IDFW. They wanted to use their video to showcase their beautiful city. The collection captures day to night looks seamlessly. It starts with sophisticated jumpsuits, skirts, and pants during the day and then shows dresses with bead appliques as the models walk around the city at night. Naggah did a fantastic job of showing

Rabat'sRabat's influence on their AW20 show and making a range of looks that work for anyone's lifestyle. Be sure to watch the full videos for each of these brands on the FNL network to fully experience the culture and beauty of DellenKilten of Helsingland, Jelena Malesevic, Gulnara Kassym, Weiling Chang, ChapanSar, Saja V Designs, Dana Ashimova, and Naggah.

International Digital Fashion Week, along with the talented designers involved, has changed the game for fashion and will continue to be a crucial part of showing the latest collections.

Dana Ashimova'sAshi mova's spring collection takes a modern take on Kazakhstan wear. There are traditional headdresses and coats paired with modern silhouettes. Whether you are looking for a long gown or pants and

sweater combination, Ashimova designed pieces that are made for every woman in Kazakhstan. Simple items become elevated with the bright colors used and the embroidery and jewels on the clothing. The second season of International Digital Fashion Week is planned

Designer s Featur e #4 by: Saif Rahman Sozib

International Digital Fashion Week on FNL Network features hundreds of designers from all around the world. There is something for everyone on IDFW, from elegant evening gowns to edgy streetwear, from maxidresses to minidresses, from traditional clothing to modern clothing. Today I will be discussing Romanova Rulsana, Dina Sayfi, Bimpe Bata Footwear, Aliya Sagdi, Pitnapat, Selma Moreno Design,

Adolfo Sanchez, Qi Zhou, Thalassa Beachwear, Atelier Raushan, and IG Moda by Irina Gorbman. Continue reading to learn about the range of talented designers that are featured on FNL Network. The "Romanova Woman" is shown as someone simple yet elegant. Romanova Ruslana showcased their spring/summer 2021 collection on IDFW and featured pieces such as silk slips and white button-ups. Filmed by

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

the beach, the video on FNL Network paints the picture that these women are care-free souls. Accessories are used to make a statement, while the actual clothing is laid-back. The juxtaposition of the jewels and the fabrics create a gorgeous collection. Every woman is going to want to be the "Romanova Woman" come next spring.

Dina Sayfi is a designer from Uzbekistan. Her exclusive collection at IDFW gave us a one-of-akind pieces made from Italian leather and vintage silk. What I enjoyed most

about the collection was the movement. Maxi dresses and wide legs pants were created from the previously mentioned vintage silk, which allows for mobility in the clothing. This was

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

made clear to the viewers as the models twirled and danced around. Dina Sayfi created looks that are artistic, comfortable, and stylish.

In 2017, American footwear brand

Bimpe Bata Footwear was launched. Inspired by watching an African cobbler repairing shoes, the brand is entirely handmade in Lagos, Nigeria. Their spring/summer 2021

collection features both shoes and bags and focuses on sensibility. The theme for SS21 is "shoes are made for walking. This entails several different sneakers that are comfortable enough to take you anywhere and everywhere. The bags include a fanny pack and

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

a chest bag, making it easy to access your things while keeping your hands free. The Bimpe Bata Footwear SS21 collection is effortlessly stylish while leaving consumers prepared for their on-thego lifestyles.

Pitnapat's "The New Normal Collection" is a streetwear-inspired collection that features masks that match the clothing. Masks are 2020's trendiest accessory and creating masks that perfectly

match the outfits you've designed is a brilliant idea. Rather than making bold looks using bright colors, Pitnapat made the black and white looks stand out by mixing loud prints. The collection features

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

animal prints, chevron, and newspaper prints, sometimes including all of them in one look. The blazers with the canvas belts and the mock neck shirts emulate the classic street style. Pitnapat perfectly executed "the new normal."

From Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan, Aliya

Sagdi drew inspiration from her ancestors' clothing and made them modern for her IDFW video. Traditional chapans (coats) and

Kazakhstan headdresses were the highlights of the collection.

intricately decorated with lace and beads to make delicate, beautiful pieces.

Throughout, there is a theme of ballet. Models are shown dancing in point shoes wearing beautiful dresses that are

The embroidered chapans are then layered over the dresses creating the perfect balance between new and old.

Selma Moreno Design is a Bolivian brand focusing on women empowerment through fashion. Their video for IDFW, titled "Journey To The Treasure Of Our Roots," was used to tell a story about fashion's

cultural significance. Each step of the design process was carefully thought out to have a deeper meaning. The process of making the jewelry shows the evolution of women. The fabrics chosen

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

The mission of

Adolfo Sanchez is to "take you on a journey to a world of freedom where women dare to be strong and different. " Sanchez designs gowns that stand out from the crowd. He utilizes feathers, beads, high slits, and dramatic

sleeves to attract the daring woman. One of my favorite parts about this collection is how the top and bottom halves of the dresses play off each other. The bottom halves are left simple with light layers of silk, and the top halves create the drama.

While watching this show, you forget about the world around you and are taken to a place where anything is possible, where you are strong and different. Adolfo Sanchez succeeded in his mission.

"Beauty Overflowing" is the theme for Qi Zhou spring/summer 21 collections. She wanted to create something that gave the audience hope during

these dark times and remind people that there is a bright future. She uses colorful fabrics to convey this message.

The collection includes florals, embroidered peacock feathers on one of the dresses, earth

tones, and airy fabrics. All of these things bring us, as viewers, back to nature. The collection shows us we aren't trapped in such a horrible time, that there is so much beauty out there in the world.

Thalassa Beachwear is a fashion-forward swimwear brand from Trinidad and Tobago. The theme for their 2021 beachwear collection was "The Rhythm of the Tropics." The collection features

prints of tropical leaves and bright colors. In terms of silhouette, there is something for everyone. Thalassa Beachwear does a great job creating a range of pieces, including long-sleeve bikini tops, one-pieces, balconette bikinis, and more.

Š Red Silk Carpet Nov 2020

They have recently started using recycled fabric for their designs, making the pieces covered in leaf prints feel even more connected to nature. Thalassa Beachwear is a fun, unique, and sustainable swimwear line.

Atelier Raushan created a mix of classic and edgy pieces for their collection on IDFW. The collection starts with simple yet stylish monochromatic suits, sweater dresses, and

simple coats, and then transitions into looks featuring deep reds, hi-lo silhouettes, and shimmering coats. This collection is excellent for the individual looking for

day-to-night looks or someone who is frequently looking to switch up their style. I love the versatility that Atelier Raushan created with this collection.

"Memories in time" Throw out the depictions of this constant normality and bring into desires within a new. The artists that make pure gold out of stone. The subject of what we may call normality is brought into a different perspective using an entirely different location. The purpose of this overall experience is to show that there is beauty within the hidden depths. The location chosen by the photographer played within my own alternative aesthetic; find beautiful pieces of art drawn around the location just brought an extra layer! The choice of outfit and overall perspective Style is the fit around Steampunk's themes and a variety of layers to keep warm in the harsh cold, a long luxurious pink scarf that was probably bought because of its extreme length. Within styling and make-up decisions. Very harsh contour lines and extravagant eyeliner were my personal choices to highlight and change my image. Lastly, the processing was done by the model, which is usually not very heard of... but with a background of graphic design and animation. This model could spend hours upon hours on photoshop! _Rune William's Welsh model @chibirune
