As we step into a new year, we’d like to first and foremost thank our clients and agent partners for a landmark 2022, our first official year as a proud member to the Sotheby’s and Anywhere Real Estate, Inc. family of firms.

In total, our firm’s sales reached heights of over $525 million in 2022, with an average sale price of $6 million, representing a 20% increase year over year, and over $3.7 billion in cumulative bids processed.

Historic events took place with a series of marquee sales at Sotheby’s New York, including the first real estate exhibitions to ever gavel and livestream at the esteemed auction house.

World record-breaking results were achieved with our $141 million sale of ‘The One’ in Bel Air, California, the highest sale of a listed property in 2022. Further international expansion took place with first-time properties in Japan, Croatia, Indonesia, and Austria. And, for every sale last year, we were able to fund the building of homes for families in need through our Key For Key® giving program in partnership with Giveback Homes.

AREN’T AUCTIONS ONLY FOR DISTRESSED PROPERTIES? No. Our typical seller is well capitalized. They choose auction to control the timing of their sale.

WHAT AUCTION FORMATS DO YOU USE? We use two auction formats. 1) No Reserve: There is no minimum bid to purchase. 2) Reserve: Will sell at or above a pre-determined price threshold.
