Does NappaTile have acoustical properties?

Yes, NappaTile offers products with acoustical properties. The NRC rating increases when paired with acoustical coverings.

Are all patterns acoustic?

All patterns consisting of padded tiles will provide acoustical properties. However, the NRC rating will range depending on the proportion of padded tiles used in the design.

How can we achieve the highest sound absorption?

Using our acoustical coverings on padded tiles will provide the highest sound absorption at 0.60 NRC.

Can patterns be customized to increase acoustical properties?

Yes, we currently have four acoustical coverings available - Como, Ostro, Pebbled, and Sirocco. Standard patterns can also be customized to increase the amount of padded tiles in the layout.

Has NappaTile been tested for sound absorption?

Yes, the tiles have been tested for sound absorption, and reports of the results are available.

Simply provide wall dimensions and preferred pattern to the NappaTile team to receive renderings. We can provide recommendations for custom sizes along with any other adjustments necessary to fit the tiles onto your wall.

Installation

Contractors will receive an easy-to-follow installation layout made custom for their project. Tiles will be labeled on the backside with a code corresponding to the installation legend.
