ccording to the research team at Goldman Sachs, we can expect healthy growth in 2024, with the economy growing by 2.1%.
Most of the problems that would lead to higher inflation, such as an overheated labor market, are gone. And as a result, the probability of a recession in 2024 is much lower than what was predicted months ago. There actually was a “soft” economic landing! While business investment is expected to slow, and financing conditions are expected to be more difficult, mostly for real estate, overall business investment is expected to grow 1.75%. Another bit of positive economic news: Consumer spending is expected to be strong, with real disposable income expected to grow by 3% in 2024. All this good economic news emphasizes the point that now is a good time to consider what equipment you’ll need to make 2024 a banner year for YOU.
