Nigeria Super Eagles Fixtures
The Super Eagles will play their first AFCON qualifying match against Sierra Leone at home between May 30 and June 14 before departing for Sao Tome and Principe or Mauritius. Guinea Bissau will compete twice in Group A in September, with the two games taking place between September 19 and 27. Prior to taking on Sao Tome or Mauritius at home, the Super Eagles fixtures is in Sierra Leone. These matches will take place from March 20 to March 28, 2023. Mauritius has filed a complaint against Sao Tome, alleging that their rivals used an ineligible player in a crucial qualification match. The player also scored the goal that advanced Sao Tome to the competition's group stage. The top two clubs from each of the 12 groups advance to the 2023 African Football Championship, which will be held in Cote d'Ivoire.
