In men's international football, Nigeria is represented by the national football team. The Nigeria Football Federation is in charge of the team, which is known as the Super Eagles (NFF). They have won the Africa Cup of Nations three times, most recently in 2013 when they defeated Burkina Faso in the championship game. The Super Eagles fixtures achieved the best FIFA ranking ever for an African football team when they were ranked fifth in the FIFA rankings in April 1994.
