WELCOME Welcome to 10MILA 2019 and Östra Göinge - The green heart of Skåne in southern Sweden! Here we live close to fantastic forests and scenery, but it is also easy to reach bigger cities in southern Sweden. A good place to live in!

The arena is situated in a new park area at Trollacenter in Glimåkra and will be compact with short distances to facilities, tent sites, showers and buses. Food is served and sport sales will be available indoors.
TERRAIN DESCRIPTION
The competition area offers a wide range of variety in terrain types. We are at the border between the beech forests, typical for Skåne and the pine forests found further north. Open forests with good runnability mixed with more challenging parts where good orienteering skills will be rewarded. Within the area several cultural heritages are found, like remainings of the many small quarries which could be found here in the past. The area “Trollabackarna”, situated northeast of the arena, is both steep terrain and rocky ground. Except that the courses will have low to moderate amounts of climb and normal level of details.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We offer accommodation on hard surface in schools and sports centers in the villages close with excellent transport facilities to the arena. “The Orienteering Hotel” situated in Östanå at Pappersbruket Hotell & konferens offers accommodation in double room incl. breakfast. Full board also possible. Accommodation can also be found via the websites of surrounding municipalities and booking sites on the internet.
