Check out and transfer to the airport. Depart from Ponta Delgada with Sata Airlines at 08:20 to Porto and then depart from Porto to Malta at 16:40.

Today, you will fly from Malta to Porto on flight FR1509. Later, depart from Porto on flight S4183 (15:40 – 17:20) to Terceira Island. Upon arrival in Lages Airport, your guide will be waiting to welcome you all. Afterwards, a transfer will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel, check in and have some time to refresh and settle in.











th Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to Angra do Heroismo and surroundings. Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore Angra do Heroismo, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Wander through its charming streets and admire the elegant architecture of the historic centre. Visit the Cathedral of Angra, followed by the Obelisk on the hill of memory which was built in 1856 to commemorate the visit of King D. Pedro IV in 1832 during the Liberal wars. Continue to the Duque da Terceira Garden, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Here, enjoy a coffee break and savour the iconic Dona Amelia pastries. Next, head to Monte Brasil, where breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean await. Return to the city for free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, venture into the island’s volcanic heart with a visit to the Algar do Carvao, an ancient volcano featuring a dramatic magma chamber and unique geological formations. Head to the Biscoitos wine region which is known for its basaltic landscapes and centuries old vineyards. For those wine lovers who wish to take part in wine tasting, can have the option to taste two to three glasses for a supplement

After breakfast at the hotel, begin with a scenic journey through the eastern part of Terceira Island. The day starts with a drive along the coast, passing through the charming village of Porto Judeu, followed by a stop at Porta das Contendas, where dramatic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean in a stunning display of nature. Then go to Porto Martins which is a peaceful seaside village known for its natural pools and volcanic rock formations. Here you will have time to swim and snorkel. Go to the ascend to the Serra do Cume viewpoint which is one of the island’s iconic landscapes. From this panoramic spot, admire the vast green plain shaped by ancient volcanic eruptions, now divided into a patchwork of pastures bordered by traditional stone walls. Along the way, notice the colourful Imperios do Espirito Santo, small chapels that reflect the island’s deep-rooted religious traditions and the strong sense of community among its people. The journey concludes in Praia da Vitoria which is a vibrant coastal town where you can have lunch, swim and explore the marina and historical centre. Meals: Breakfast

Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to São Miguel Island on flight SP1407 (13:35 – 14:20). Upon arrival, the guide will welcome you at the airport. A transfer takes you to one of the island’s pineapple greenhouses which are located nearby. These unique glass-covered structures showcase the traditional method of growing Azorean pineapples. Here, you’ll learn about the cultivation and may enjoy a tasting of pineapple products. Later, enjoy a guided walking tour of Ponta Delgada’s historical centre, including Portas da Cidade, the iconic city gates, Matriz Church which is a beautiful example of Azorean religious architecture. The group is then transferred to the accommodation for check in.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a day dedicated to discovering both the marine life and volcanic beauty of São Miguel. The morning will begin with a whale watching tour, where a marine biologist and guide will brief the group on the species that may be spotted. Then, its time to head out on an offshore adventure to witness the wonders of the Atlantic. Free time for lunch is given, then in the afternoon, continue with a visit to the Lagoa do Fogo viewpoint, offering sweeping views of the crater lake, the island and the ocean beyond. On the descent, you’ll stop at Caldeira Velha, where you can relax in a naturally heated thermal pool surrounded by lush endemic vegetation. Before heading back to the accommodation, you’ll pass through the centre of Ribeira Grande and then make a final stop at Salto do Cabrito where you’ll find a picturesque waterfall perfect for photos.

Today, you have a free day to explore. Some options include swimming with dolphins, quad biking, taking a walk around Ponta Delgada, or going for a hike to explore the surrounding area.

Swimming with the Dolphins: €160 per person
On this unique experience, enjoy a dolphin swim in Azores on this 2 hour boat trip. You will be able to see and swim with wild dolphins in their natural environment! This swimming with dolphins will take place in São Miguel. Under the supervision of our expert marine biologist, this encounter will be magical and safe for both you and the dolphins! Before the tour, you will receive a safety briefing with the most important rules about swimming with wild dolphins in Azores.
Quad and Buggy Experience: €90 per person
On this tour you will be the driver of a quad bike or buggy. This 3-hour tour will take you to some high points, through secondary paths and dirt paths, where you will have incredible views.
Today after breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to see some of the most scenic lakes of São Miguel within the volcanic complex of Sete Cidades. Begin with Pico do Carvao, then enjoy the many wonderful views from some of the region’s belvederes. Lagoa de Santiago will be your next stop. Depending on the weather, the lake will look blue or green. On the bridge of Sete Cidades, your guide will tell you about the ancient love legend behind the formation of the green and blue lakes. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. Another stop is by the long tunnel linking Sete Cidades to Mosteiros. Arrival at Sete Cidades centre, where you will have time to go to the bottom of the Caldeira where you can ride a bike, paddle or kayak in the amazingly beautiful lake. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch


After breakfast, the journey begins with a visit to the Gorreana Tea Factory, followed by a scenic stop at Pico do Ferro, offering sweeping views over the Furnas valley which is perfect for capturing unforgettable moments. Next, explore the bubbling fumaroles at Caldeiras das Furnas and sample naturally carbonated mineral waters from various springs. Continuing past Lagoa das Furnas, you will have time to enjoy lunch.
After lunch, head to the historic Terra Nostra Botanical Garden which is home to a remarkable collection of endemic and exotic flora. To end the visit, you will have the chance to relax in the garden’s thermal pool, rich in iron and naturally heated to a soothing 35-40°C. On the return to Ponta Delgada, travel along the southern coastline with a stop in Vila Franca do Campo, the island’s original capital, where you’ll learn about the history and admire the offshore islet known as the Princess Ring. While in Vila Franca, you’ll also make a special stop to taste the famous Queijadas de Vila Franca do Campo, which is a beloved pastry made from fresh cheese, sugar and cinnamon.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up and driven first to the Santa Iria viewpoint for stunning views of the island’s northern coastline. It is often described as one of the most enchanting corners of São Miguel, the Nordeste region captivates both locals and visitors with its untouched beauty. Some even affectionately call it the ‘tenth island’ of the Azores with its sweeping ocean views, lush greenery, cascading waterfalls and vibrant hydrangeas lining the roads, it’s easy to see why. From there, continue to the village of Nordeste, passing notable landmarks like the local bridge and church. Stops at Ponta do Sossego and Vista dos Barcos viewpoint which both offer breathtaking sceneries will be made. After a morning of discovery, enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. After, explore the Ribeira dos Caldeiroes park which is known for its waterfalls and historic watermills. Here you have the option to book a canyoning experience (not included). Before returning to Ponta Delgada, stop at Coroa da Mata viewpoint for one last look at the dramatic coastline.

Warm up with a short walk along the trail until you reach the starting point of this exciting adventure. From here, you will jump, slide, and abseil through a completely natural environment, following the stream as it flows down from the mountaintop and into the valley below. You’ll be fully immersed in lush, vibrant forest scenery throughout the experience. The descent begins with some light scrambling and time spent exploring the stream, getting comfortable with the terrain and the refreshing mountain water. As we make our way down, the adventure truly comes to life with a series of waterfall abseils,an unforgettable activity that brings you face-to-face with the raw power and beauty of nature.

Early in the morning, you will have a transfer to the airport for your departure from Ponta Delgada to Porto on flight S41372 (08:20 – 11:40).
Upon arrival in Porto, check in for your flight FR1510 (16:40- 20:45) back to Malta.
