elcome to the 19th annual Pasture Treasures Female Sale. It really seems surreal that it’s been that many years since we made the decision to move from a December consignment sale to hosting our own Fall Production Sale. It’s also hard to believe we started in the seedstock industry 45 years ago! Time truly does fly when you’re having fun. In that time span there have been so many changes, but the consistent has been the type of cattle we have tried to produce. To even put it that much more into perspective, our first registered Simmental Bull was a Sir Arnold 809G son, some genetics we still utilize today. We have always focused on producing early maturing easy doing cattle that meet the criteria of the commercial cattle industry. Where do you even begin about the industry? We seen new record highs last year, and who would have dreamed it could get better, but it did. As bull sale season progressed, we just seemed to find a new level every week. Same with the calf, yearling, cull cow and bull market. Some of the big mature slaughter bulls have gathered more money in return than their initial investment after several years of use. I have often mentioned to our kids about how times have changed. The very first bull I sold was the second high seller in the Pacesetter bull sale, behind the Grand Champion bull, selling for $1575, this spring we sold 160 bulls for over a $15,000 average; yes, indeed times have changed. With regards to this year’s offering, we are very happy with the group of females assembled. As in the past the vast majority of this year’s sale will be composed of bred heifers, heavily influenced in the Fleckvieh side, based on core cow families and the majority will be sired by our herd bull battery. Even though our Purebred division is much smaller, we have been really diligent on trying to assemble some of the best genetics we can, and we are very happy with the direction we have been headed. To complete the offering will be a few special genetic lots. Two very exciting lots will be the very first and very last lots of this year’s sale, something truly special! Our operation is a family business and our kids have taken on a bigger role. We are truly blessed to have them and their spouses so involved. It makes it just that much more exciting for us to see their vision and view for the future of our operation. We are pleased to welcome a small group of guest consignors again this year, some young keen cattlemen that have bright futures in the industry. Many of the heifers in the sale will be carrying AI services, those that aren’t are bred back to bulls we have used in our heifer pen in the past with great success, with the exception of Michelob. Michelob has calved really well for us on cows and we felt he should work well on heifers as well so there are a very limited number carrying his service as a sample size. We have sifted through these heifers carefully for physical soundness, quality and temperament. All heifers were Ultra Sounded 28 – 60 days of pregnancy so we are very confident of the breeding information. Heifers have received safe guard and first shot of Guardian, and will be rechecked to pregnancy prior to the sale to ensure they are settled. For any guests traveling a distance keep in mind we are 1 of 3 sales on this weekend, starting off on Thursday at Black Gold, and finishing on Saturday at Beechinor Land & Livestock. This is a great opportunity to visit with fellow breeders and see some outstanding cattle in the process. For anyone unable to attend our sale is a live event, and is not on the internet. We encourage you to stop in prior to the sale for a tour and a visit. If you are unable to attend in person don’t hesitate to call and discuss your needs with ourselves or any of the sale crew as they have been through and assessed the consignments. Anyone wishing to watch it may do so on the Anchor D Ranch Simmentals Facebook live page. Bidding is not available there. If we can be of any assistance, please let us know. We look forward to seeing you October 9.

WELCOME FROM BOHRSON
I
t is always a highlight of the fall sale season to welcome everyone to the 19th Annual Anchor D Ranch “Pasture Treasures” Female Sale. For nearly two decades, the Skeels family has dug deeply into the heart of their program to assemble one of the largest and most impressive selections of Simmental genetics offered each fall. On behalf of the Skeels family and all of us at Bohrson Marketing Services, we invite you to join us for another outstanding event. Anchor D Ranch is a true family operation with more than 45 years invested in the seedstock industry. Throughout that time, Dan and Karen have remained committed to producing functional, early-maturing, easy-doing cattle that excel in real-world conditions. Their focus has never wavered, but it is especially exciting to see the next generation becoming increasingly involved and contributing their own ideas and vision for the future. There have also been plenty of exciting changes within the Skeels family. Mackenzie and Corey recently celebrated their marriage, and we would also like to extend our sincere congratulations to Garren and Trinity Skeels on their wedding in early August. These are special milestones for a close-knit family, and it is wonderful to see both couples continuing to play an important role at Anchor D Ranch. The cattle business is built around family, and the future of this fourth-generation operation is certainly in capable hands. The 2026 offering is one of the largest and deepest groups Anchor D has ever assembled. The Fleckvieh division is anchored by an exceptional set of bred females influenced by the core cow families and proven herd sires that have built this program. The offering combines dependable genetics with several new and exciting pedigrees, including daughters of Kobalt, Alamo, Creed, Michelob, Yellowstone and many other influential sires. The purebred division continues to gain momentum and features an impressive selection of red and black females designed to become productive, marketable brood cows. The genetic lots add another exciting dimension, with rare embryo opportunities, exclusive semen offerings and access to genetics that have been carefully developed and protected within the Anchor D program. Whether you are searching for a cornerstone donor, a powerful bred heifer, an exciting purebred female or a unique genetic investment, there is something here for every serious Simmental breeder. We are once again pleased to welcome an outstanding group of guest consignors who have brought forward cattle and genetics worthy of carrying the Pasture Treasures name. The Stout Brothers are as progressive as any breeders in the business and are annually committed to selling their very best through this event. They have brought true feature females that have developed into past high sellers, and this year is no exception with another impressive lineup. Ryan and Dalton Harder of Harder Cattle Co. have selected two high-quality bred heifers that represent the strength and direction of their growing program, while Masterloc Simmentals returns with an exciting embryo package from one of last year’s sale highlights and high-selling females. Gary Waldron, who stood beside Garren as his bestman and is truly extended family to the Skeels, has once again dug deeply into his program to offer a bred heifer that combines proven genetics with the functional quality he is known for. Ben Estes of Estes Ranch has contributed two exclusive semen lots that provide access to exciting and difficult-toacquire genetics. Rancho Ade also returns with a special fall cow-calf pair featuring the high-selling female they purchased through this sale two years ago. We sincerely appreciate the confidence each of these progressive breeders places in Pasture Treasures and believe their contributions add tremendous depth, diversity and opportunity to an already impressive offering. There may never have been a better time to invest in the cattle business. Record markets have created tremendous optimism throughout the industry, but the greatest long-term returns will continue to come from functional, predictable cattle backed by strong cow families. The Anchor D program has been built around those fundamentals, and this offering provides an opportunity to invest in genetics developed through decades of disciplined selection. We encourage you to visit Anchor D Ranch before the sale, tour through the offering and study the cow families behind these females. Dan, Karen, Mackenzie, Corey, Garren and Trinity are tremendous hosts who take great pride in their cattle and genuinely enjoy sharing their program with fellow breeders. Please join us Friday, October 9, for an evening of first-class hospitality, fellowship and exceptional Simmental genetics. If any of us at Bohrson Marketing Services can assist with selections, provide additional information or represent you on sale day, please do not hesitate to contact us. Best Regards, The Bohrson Marketing Team

We had toyed around with the idea of perhaps marketing “Ziley” in last years sale, but there were still a couple of flushes on my list we hadn’t gotten to yet. This is a cow that has contributed a great deal not only to our program but the breed in general. Our thought process was she deserves to go out into the industry where someone else has some new fresh ideas as to what to mate her to that we haven’t thought of yet. The opportunity to buy a highly proven donor cow just doesn’t come along every day. Yes, she has some age on her, but she is still as sound as they come and is still producing well. Her track record is quite impressive. Her 12 progeny we have sold to date have averaged just shy of $25,000 with two co high sellers of $60,000 each (Raptor & Jacqueline). We sold a pick of the tank a couple years ago for Garren’s mystery lot and the embryos selected were from “Ziley”, selling to XRC Simmentals for $5100 each. Last year we marketed 5 embryos off of her bringing $4600 each, also to XRC. We will sell 5 “Viper” embryos, selling at the Fleckvieh Heritage Sale, September 19 in Oklahoma. So, as you can see, we have kept the genetics somewhat exclusive, and in fairness to the new owner her remaining embryo inventory will remain in our program for the time being. To date she has 17 registered progenies, of which 8 bulls have gone into purebred operations. Her flush history she has averaged 8.1 embryos per flush in her lifetime. Her last 6 flushes all done IVF have averaged 7.5 so you can see she has been pretty consistent. We haven’t let her have a natural calf the last couple of years as she has remained in embryo production due to her age. Her last flush was May 12, 2026 so she has had lots of time off and is more than ready to go. This is a very special opportunity to buy a very proven donor cow with a very proven track record. If you have a young sire you want to put on the map, no better way to get it done. We are certainly aware of her age so we will guarantee a successful flush of at least 6 embryos or give you access to her embryo inventory to make up the difference. A Golden Opportunity.

Our Simmental journey began with Fleckvieh cattle over 40 years ago. There have been a number of changes in that time in both the cattle and the breeders, but our focus has always been the same. To raise functional cattle that can excel in a commercial environment. We have developed this herd based around key cow families, and trying to secure the highest quality walking bulls we can. A blend of old and new genetics to achieve the ultimate goal. We are very proud to be a 4th generation family farm, and Fleckvieh cattle have played a huge role in keeping this viable, for the next generation to come.

Our fall calving program is very small, but “Viana” is a strong representative from this group. Her dam is a picture perfect “French Attack” daughter who is absolutely flawless, easily a cow you would have in any show pen, and backed by a stellar cow family in “Peach”. Her sire “Kobalt” was a bull we imported from Oklahoma, and we were extremely impressed with his calves. His 10 sons this spring averaged $13,825 not a bad debut. Unfortunately, we lost him and with only 50 straws of semen on him these calves will become very rare. This makes “Viana” a very tough one to sell but also makes her a very credible headliner for the sale. This is an outstanding Polled female with unlimited potential and a pedigree that will only add value.

When going through this year’s offering “Antonia” is a heifer you find quickly on pedigree alone. We were fortunate enough to purchase a flush from JB Livestock a few years ago, on arguably his best donor cow, “Antebellum”. We ended up with two daughters in our herd, and “Antonia” is from one of those heifers, as her first calf. The bottom of this pedigree is impressive enough on its own, but then consider a direct daughter of “Antonius”. These are not new genetics at all, but sometimes the best way to get where you are going is to look in the rear-view mirror to see where you’ve been. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say anything negative about an “Antonius” daughter; they just go to work. Perhaps a bit like Cinderella at first by being overlooked, but in the end, they end up being the bell of the ball.

You couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas present than “Noelle”. Her dam “Kaylee” was slated to be one of our feature bred sale heifers, but an injury took her out of the sale. Every cloud has a silver lining as after a full recovery this little female has become a powerhouse in our own herd. As she is owned in partnership with Canadian Donors, “Noelle” was designed to be a sale heifer from day one, and we had a pretty good feeling she would develop into one of this year’s feature lots. She has delivered. She has a pedigree that makes her elite and then note how we have her bred back. There is zero doubt in my mind this is a future donor cow, and will take someone to the next level. If you are shopping for that one female to make an immediate impact “Noelle” could very well be the one!

“Gemma” is another female with a flawless pedigree. When you back track her lineage, it is impressive to say the least. Her great grandmother is a cow we purchased from Lazy RS, and it is highly unfortunate she never entered our donor pen. A direct “Antonius” daughter, back to the great “Mitzi” cow. She was a cow that was on our radar, and then health issues prevented us from going to work on her. Regardless “Gemma” is royally bred, and is going to develop into a more moderate framed, super easy keeping female. I think she is a female that you will be able to throw power at and she will respond in spades, and also be a female that looks in mint condition year-round.

His sons were very well received this spring, and he has developed into a massive powerhouse himself. This particular heifer comes from a front end “French Attack” daughter, tracing back to the great “Ashante” cow from Buzzard Hollow in Texas. “Kardashian” has all the credentials to be a great one, I think her future is extremely bright.

“Emerald” easily fits into the “one of my personal favorites” category. This is an exceptional heifer with a powerful pedigree. She is simply stacked from top to bottom. Her dam is a very special young cow that we can breed to anything and expect big things from. Tracing back to the “Herlinde” cow family further back, adds its own degree of special to this already unique package. The “Creed” daughters are spectacular, so I expect big things. I always say if you don’t shed a tear when sorting through sale heifers you haven’t dug deep enough. “Emerald” will cause a few tears to be shed. This is a big-time heifer that will deliver above and beyond.

I may or may not have lost my mind, but here is “Patty West”. I have gone on record more than once and have said the best bull we have ever owned is “French Attack”, and he would also be the biggest influence in our herd. Well, “Patty West” gives you an opportunity to own a full sister to his dam. We were fortunate enough to have purchased a package of embryos from Virginia Ranch on this mating and ended up with a bull who sold to Sagwich Land & Livestock, Idaho and two daughters. We decided to keep one and share one. You will notice she was exposed a bit later as she is one of two heifers we kept in the AI pen and missed heats on. Rather than running the risk of missing them a second time we kicked her in with “Intrepid” and observed her 3 days later. This is a very special opportunity to get in on some of the most proven genetics ever offered.

I have a really good feeling about these “Kobalt” daughters. As I had mentioned before they will become very limited as we lost him after one breeding season. We were fortunate enough to have used him in the fall calving group so there are a few more numbers but still quite limited. “Karley” comes from a very good cow family in “Becca” aka “Becky”. This cow wasn’t the most attractive cow, but man what a producer. The type you could have a whole herd of and never go wrong. Low maintenance, docile, sound and very productive. “Karley” is going to be a bigger framed powerful female. I think the breeding to “Radioactive” should be a home run. Just an exceptional female that will work in anyone’s program and just deliver the goods.

“Nallory” is my personal pick of this year’s sale heifers. I think she just really offers it all. Eye appeal, power, pedigree, and as a bonus in a polled package with a perfect paint job. Every year we have one female that we mark aside as the untouchable heifer for that year. Our pick of the pen goes into our herd and then everything else is pretty well fair game to be eligible for the sale. The dam of this heifer “Kendra” was that year’s pick, and she has delivered. Her first calf is a beautiful “Barbossa” daughter that looks very similar to “Nallory”, who is only her second calf. This year she is sporting a very fancy bull calf who will certainly be noticed next spring. The grand dam “Destiny” has become one of our most productive cows in her time. She has produced 10 calves, 2 females that have been retained, 1 bull that was culled due to injury, 6 bulls that have made the sale pen 4 of which have gone into purebred herds, and this year’s bull calf by “French Attack” is phenomenal. She has also always calved between January 1 and January 13, fertility at its finest. Not to mention she stems back to one of our most influential cow families in “Image 21J”. The guess work is all done, this is an elite female that is very hard to part with.

Many years ago, when touring Dora Lee Genetics in Ontario, I absolutely fell in love with this young cow, “Elexis”. After years of torment, Ross finally agreed to sell her to us. She immediately came home and was entered into our donor program, and anchored our donor pen for many years. “Nelexi” boasts this great cow in her pedigree twice as she is just removed from her pedigree on the bottom side and is a great granddaughter on the top side. “Imax” was a bull we relied heavily on as a calving ease bull, but his true value is perhaps in the daughters he left behind. “Nelexi” has exemplified the top traits of this pedigree, and will become an awesome cow. I would expect her to produce many high sellers in her time, and be a female that will work with any bull you breed her to.

“Nikki” is the second of two heifers we missed seeing cycle in the AI pen, so she will be bred a bit later. Don’t let that detour you, this is a heifer that deserves a few looks. Her dam is a very broody highly productive cow that has had her share of offspring in the sale pen in both the female and bull sale. A cow that just quietly goes about her job and brings in a highly marketable calf each fall. The “Yellowstone” daughters are powerful females, and appear to be very functional brood cows. For anyone who has not seen “Yellowstone” in person you may want to walk out to the bull pen for a look, he is impressive, and maybe one of our best kept secrets. “Nikki” is a female that won’t break your piggy bank investment wise, but very well could shatter it with the extra cash flow she produces.

Last year we were apparently a little shy on “Sheamus” daughters in the sale, so this year we were sure to dig in hard to make sure he had a strong representation in the group. “Nettie” is a female I absolutely adore. She is a very typical “Sheamus” daughter, powerful, broody, sweeping rib shape, broad topped, everything you look for in a bull producing female. Her dam is a fantastic female we purchased from Silver Lake Simmentals, Manitoba as the high selling open heifer calf that year. She has a full brother at side this year that will certainly be a sale feature next February, he is an absolute stud! “Nettie” has a very likeable disposition, and I’m honestly a bit shocked I was able to slide her into the sale pen past Karen as she is a people lover. I guarantee if you come to look at sale heifers on pasture if you feel someone behind you licking you, it will be “Nettie”.

Well, well look what we have here. I do realize I tend to sound like a broken record on a few of these lots. “Nia” is a female we strongly considered to retain. She started out life a bit smaller as her and her twin sister were just little bitty when they were born. We initially felt because she was a twin and a bit smaller, we should keep her for ourselves, but then realizing she had potential to be Homozygous Polled we felt she should be added into the mix. She did come back hetro polled but she was already added into the sale. She has really developed well and has matured into a beautiful female. There will be so much more to her performance wise that what reads on paper, as I stated she started life small, but the genetics are all there for her to be a powerhouse, and she has caught right up to the group. This is a female you will certainly want to pay attention to on sale day.

She had book end heifers and 10 bull calves, of which 7 made the sale pen, selling to Travis Trask, Pinto Cow Ranch, Croft Creek Ranch, Springside Colony, Bar K Cattle Co, Bar M Cattle Ltd. & Darcy Stewart. Her dam and grand dam were equally as productive and you will note that her grandmother was a full sister to none other than “Dorothy Jane”. We joke about how “Dorothy Jane” built the calving barn, she truly did. If you want to breed in longevity and consistency then hop on “Komet”, she will be the one to get you there.

I am very excited about what the future for “Norissa” will bring. This is a very cool female coming from a very exciting young cow. As just a second calver, she already appears to be a female that has sky rocketed up the ranks and will be a prolific producer, sporting a very special bull calf at side this year. “Norissa” will be the first “Intrepid” daughter to sell and she is impressive. She stood out as a calf, and will be a female that is very easy to breed. I think she is going to mature very similar to the “Imax” daughters, in being a tad bit more moderate, easy fleshing, sound to the ground, perfect udder, and throw as much power at as you want and she will refine birth weight. This female could be like a license to print cash.

You will notice in more than one footnote the reference to “Ashante”. We purchased a flush from her at BHR one year. From that flush she gave us a high selling bull, a high selling bred heifer we sold at the World Congress, and “Rachel” who went on to become a cornerstone female for us. We still have 2 direct daughters of her in the herd producing at age 10 and 14 with no signs of really slowing down, and “Ashante” herself went onto live to the ripe old age of 17. “Noelia” is a great granddaughter x4 of this tremendous cow. Longevity at its finest. In those multi generation you add the sire power of “French Attack, Barbossa, Legend, Rogant & Evan” and added to that a direct daughter of “Viper”. This female is a testament to the vision of Fred Schuetze, a man we are proud to call a friend.

The dam of “Nerissa” is one of those under cover type cows. She is a female we really like, never a female that jumps out at you but a female you really appreciate when you take the time to stop and analyze her. She always brings in a strong marketable calf, isn’t a pet but is always right there, very easy to work with, and always maintains nice body condition. Just a good honest productive cow. She stacks up quite nicely on pedigree as well. Coming from “Yellowstone” we would assume “Nerissa” will be a high-performance female, extremely sound footed and easy fleshing. “Yellowstone” himself is easily one of the most structurally sound bulls we have owned. He moves like a cat and has idea foot and leg structure, is very easy keeping and is plumb impressive to see. The cross with “Intrepid” should result in a highly marketable calf. Very honest female right here.

This will be the final calf for the dam of “Nalla”. She was a very productive cow we purchased from Silver Lake. She has progeny working for Waldron Farms, Skylark Simmentals, and Estes Ranch. This was the first time we mated her to “Sheamus” and I honestly wish we would have done this cross sooner, as I do feel she is the best she has ever produced. This is a deep middled brood cow in the making that packs just that much more extra power. What you don’t see on paper researching her progeny is a couple split sets of twins that were never registered, but this cow was a work horse. “Nalla” is an extremely deep bodied, capacious female with a picture-perfect udder. This is a heifer that when she is 4 or 5 years old everyone will notice her. It was a tough decision to have her in the sale but here she is, and the breeding to “Imax” will be a great cross, be ready.

“Naira” is another “Intrepid” daughter. He did a tremendous job for us last year on his very first calf crop. We typically don’t get super aggressive when using a yearling bull for the first time on heifers, but something about him just felt right. He exceeded our expectations, as he not only calved very well, but the calves had super growth and a look about them. These “Intrepid” daughters should provide that additional calving ease but still offer enough performance to have them measure up. They are heavily pigmented and just have that momma cow look about them. “Naira” will be a very functional female that should moderate birth weight, be very sound, easy keeping and look good doing it all.

I had mentioned on an earlier lot, sometimes it’s tough to slide a pet past Karen into the sale pen. “Nelle” did not go unnoticed and it was brought to my attention more than once she was in the wrong pen. This heifer comes by her disposition naturally as she comes from a whole cow family that just enjoys people. It probably all started with her grandmother who unfortunately lost her calf a month early as a bred heifer and we milked her for a month by hand waiting to graft a calf on her, which she took. From that day on this whole cow family has been pets. I simply can not say enough good things about this cow family. “Nelle” comes from the first set of calves sired by “Michelob”. As you can tell by this year’s catalogue, he is a bull that has provided us with some extra calving ease, as well as adding muscle shape. He is a very impressive bull to see in person. “Nelle” will provide calving ease, perfect pigmentation and disposition second to none. Just a nice solid fit in anyone’s herd.

Over the years we have really taken great pride in trying to assemble an elite bull battery. We are very fortunate to have had “Fort Knox” work for us for so many years. He did a great job producing both bulls and heifers, always supplying extra growth, extra length, extra pigmentation, and very sound footed. Although next year will be our final calf crop from “Fort Knox” he is still breeding strong for Diamond Rio Ranch at age 8. The bottom side of this pedigree is equally as impressive stemming back to a couple of our donor cows in “Martini & Cher”. This isn’t the biggest stoutest heifer of the pen but the pedigree all adds up for her to be a work horse. A female that may be a bit more budget friendly but deliver big dividends.

I had originally thought of retaining this heifer for ourselves due to a later breeding date. However, for one she doesn’t really fit our time slot, and secondly, we always have some requests for some later calving females. So, the decision was made to add her into the sale pen. This is a big powerful heifer from a tremendous cow family. We feel she probably had stuck to her early breeding and mother nature determined otherwise, so she came back 2 months later. Use this to your advantage, this will be a fantastic producing female in my mind. Yes, her mother is starting to slow down, but at age 13 she has the right to. Longevity and productivity are bred throughout this pedigree.

If we could make them all like her life would be pretty easy. “Narlene” is sired by “Kobalt” and it was a difficult decision to part with as many as we are as this is his only natural calf crop, we will have. These heifers are powerful and broody and look like they with make outstanding cows. The dam of “Narlene” is a very typical “French Attack” daughter, easy fleshing, picture perfect udder, extra pigmentation, great footed and super productive. Her follow up was a daughter that went to Champ Simmentals, producing their high selling bull one year. She also has offspring working for Sagwich Land & Livestock, and another to Dobbie Simmentals. These being the first “Michelob” daughters to sell we think they will develop into extremely thick heavy muscled individuals, following his pattern. Moderate framed, very easy fleshing, with great temperament, foot structure, hair and beautiful udders. The oldest ones are really just pulling into their prime productive years and they are special, and appear to be females that will last a long, long time. This female once again goes back to the “Peach” cow family, who has several descendants in this year’s sale. This is as honest and productive of cow family as you will find. They develop into big broody females that deliver the goods. This is the same cow family that produced “Adley 175C” a top end donor cow for Silver Lake. Picking sale heifers every year is a bit stressful. We try to put a good cross section together that will work for a different variety of programs. “Neasa” was selected basically when we weaned her. A beautiful dark red, heavily pigmented heifer, with both calving ease and performance and a very proven cow family, plus the Polled factor. Coming from an outstanding first calving female with her whole career ahead of her, everything just added up that made sense for her to be a feature female in this year’s sale. That was until her dam had to be euthanized with a breeding injury on the ice this spring. So, in all honesty if there was one heifer I could cherry pick from this year’s sale this would be the one. Being the only “Gannon” in the sale also is just added value. This will be an awesome female that will be very easy to come up with a list of bulls to use on her. Buy with confidence, I can’t say enough good things about her.

“Nyssa” just keeps moving higher and higher on my list every day. I adore this female, what would you change about her? She is an absolute powerhouse with a wicked pedigree. This is a bull maker if I ever seen one, and her pedigree says so too. Her grand dam has given us three females, all of which have been retained, and a very impressive bull calf for next February sale. “Nyssa” is a tank, but still has lots of eye appeal, and truly has that special look about her. I see really big things in this young female’s future, and as I stated earlier, she looks like a bull producer. Remember her name because I truly feel you will see a lot more of “Nyssa” in the years ahead.

“Nadine” is a heifer in the pen that I notice every day. This is a beautiful female, very feminine and angular, with great capacity and presents. I can see her developing into a front pasture female for sure. Her dam is a really nice “Fort Knox” daughter. This bull left us some exceptional females, that just quietly go about their jobs and bring in smashing calves every year. I don’t think “Nadine” will be the high seller; however, I do feel as though she will be a female that delivers one of the highest ROI in this year’s offering. I also really like the way we have her bred back; I think this could be a home run right out of the starting gate.

I had mentioned before that last year we were short on “Sheamus” daughters in the sale, so this year I was sure to add a few extras. “Nala” is a heifer I have extremely high expectations for. Her dam is a powerhouse that always puts a front-end contender in the pen. This is a younger female in the group that I absolutely adore, and has found her share of friends already. She will be one to keep an eye on for sure. One thing I do want to draw to your attention is her breeding date. We did not see her come back but the vet felt she was about 10 days later than our AI date, so I did put her down as a late January due date, but the timing doesn’t add up. Anyways watch her for a potential Jan. 17 “Imax” or a late January “Intrepid” regardless how she is bred the calf should be very good.

When you really dig into this pedigree, it stacks up like the who’s who in our program going back to three of our top donor cows in this pedigree. Dark red, heavy haired, beautiful udder development and polled. Everything all lines up for the makings of a super star. A female that I really feel will develop into something extra special.

Cows come and cows go, but a few leave an impact forever. The great grandmother of “Nita”, “Sonita 117N” will go down as one of my all-time personal favorite cows to ever grace our pastures. “Nita’s” dam was her final calf at age 15. This cow still had the most picture perfect feet, flawless udder, still maintained excellent body condition and was an absolute pet. She produced many, many high selling bulls in her time, and was an absolute money maker. The type of female you can never have too many of. Her dam was none other than “Herlinde” who happens to be buried here on the farm as one of our cornerstone females that helped develop our program. “Nita” will just be a very honest hard-working cow that will return huge dividends.

“Nadashi” is a heifer that we had mixed feelings about parting with. I feel she could get lost a bit in the shuffle, as she isn’t the first heifer in the pen to grab your attention, and may have been of more value in our own program. However, based on pedigree, we felt she was a female that needed to be added into the mix. We purchased her dam in Mississippi, as an older cow that offers a truly unique pedigree. A direct daughter of “Stromer” back to “Salamon, CB 2, Pauli & Gabi” on the bottom side of the pedigree. This is as outcrossed as you will find today. I honestly see this female just being an extremely hard-working brood cow. I think she will produce highly marketable offspring that will also provide that outcrossed pedigree we are all in search of. I just see this female as being a super solid investment.

“Nallie” has certainly garnished some attention. Back in the day the bulk of our cow herd used to be these mellow yellow females, and just with time of breeding red on red we have depleted our buckskin numbers. We have always found it very easy to market tan bulls, and the buckskin calves at the commercial market are always highly sought after. “Nallie” is backed by an impeccable pedigree. Our “Barbossa” cows always produce at the top end and then going back to the “Cher” cow family just solidifies how good she will be. We added her into this year’s sale as she was our only tan heifer and we did have a few people asking where to find one. Well, here she is and we are certain you won’t be disappointed. As Darryl would say she is a true Gem!

The dam of “Nina” started her career off with a bang producing “Disco” as a first calver, who was our high selling bull that year selling to Yellow Rose / Hampton and then later working for Virginia Ranch. This is her final calf as she did come in open last fall at age 10 but did a great job for us in her time here. “Nina” should be a female that also offers performance with a degree of calving ease. Tiara stems from the Tyra cow family, and if you know anything about my program, you’ll know that Tyra 20T is the female that started it all. Today, she can be found in the pedigree of nearly every female carrying an ADR tattoo. Every generation has left its mark on our herd, and I see so many of those same qualities in Tiara. Add her extra pigment and polled package, and I believe she has all the tools to make a lasting impact in any breeding program. Don’t overlook the first calf she’ll have on the ground. Bred to ESTES Top Gun, there’s the exciting possibility of a homozygous polled calf that could go a long way toward paying for Tiara right out of the gate.

If you like them long, Tatiana should grab your attention. This female has an incredible amount of extension and length of body, while still standing on a strong, functional foot. One of the things I appreciate most about her is what she’s showing underneath, with great teat placement and very good spacing that gives me a lot of confidence in the udder she’s going to develop. Add in the bonus of being Smooth Polled, and there’s even more to appreciate about this female. Tatiana is also a granddaughter of Tyra, which certainly doesn’t hurt. There’s a reason those genetics continue to show up throughout our herd, and I see plenty in this female that reminds me why we’ve continued to build around them. Tatiana is simply a well-rounded female with the pieces in place to become a productive cow.

LOT 50 & 51 An extremely exciting opportunity to purchase a donor in the making. Their mother, Gisele, needs no introduction as one of the most productive donor cows in our program. Just as impressive is her full sister, ADR Shenzi 524G, who has proven herself as another cornerstone female in our program. This is quite possibly the most consistent and successful mating we have ever offered. Bellatrix and Bellbottom are full sisters to donor ADR Phoebe 20K and full sisters on paper to ADR Krush 524K, ADR Bellacruise 321L, and ADR Mirabella 21M. When a mating consistently produces cattle of this caliber, it’s hard not to have confidence in the future of these females. While the pedigree speaks for itself, these heifers are much more than just names on paper. Packed with bone, depth, rib, and presence, they represent the kind of cattle we strive to produce. They are functional females with the performance to work in the pasture and the eye appeal to stand out. There truly isn’t a wrong decision between these sisters. They complement each other extremely well while each offering their own strengths, allowing you to choose the type of female that best fits your program. Trinity and I couldn’t decide which sister to sell and which to keep, so we’ve left that decision up to you. Only selling one on choice.

Mirabella was the high-selling female in our 2024 Pasture Treasures Sale, purchased by Rancho ADE SPR of Mexico. She remained in Canada to be flushed to Canadian sires, allowing her outcross genetics to be utilized down south. Mirabella stems from the Bell cow family, tracing directly back to her grandmother, Gisele. Bito has told me several times that, in his opinion, you couldn’t build a better cow, and when you study Mirabella, it’s easy to understand why. She combines extra length, a strong, functional foot, and tremendous maternal quality in a dark cherry-red, polled package. Mirabella sells with a fall-born Bowman calf at side, adding another exciting piece to this offering. The timing also gives her new owner the opportunity to flush Mirabella a time or two before breeding her back into the calving program. We’ve always believed the Bell cow family speaks for itself, and with a young proven donor and Bowman calf at side, we think this is one of the most exciting cow-and-calf packages we’ve had the opportunity to offer.

It is with great deliberation here at Masterloc Simmentals that we have decided to offer these embryos for sale. This is a mating that brings together two exciting individuals with the pedigree, phenotype, and maternal strength to make a lasting impact. Anchor D ADR Mirabella 21M was a true standout from the heart of the BELL cow family in the ADR division at Anchor D Simmentals. Her pedigree stands second to none, and she has already proven her worth with her first heifer calf. Like her dam, Shenzi, and full sister, Bellacruise, Mirabella possesses a picture-perfect udder, excellent foot and leg structure, and the sound, fluid movement required for a long and productive career. A female with loads of milk, she was a highselling bred heifer at the 2025 Pasture Treasures Sale. Mirabella is the kind of female that combines style with substance—retaining the rib shape, muscle expression, performance, and capacity we value, while never sacrificing femininity or structural integrity. Her 77-lb. birth weight, 626-lb. adjusted weaning weight, and 1,040-lb. adjusted yearling weight further demonstrate the performance behind her phenotype. Her service to Homo Polled Logland Double Dare 233K makes these embryos particularly exciting. Double Dare brings a powerful genetic package to the mating, complementing Mirabella’s maternal strength and Fleckvieh influence. The result is an embryo mating designed to produce cattle with style, performance, soundness, muscle, and the maternal ability to build a cow herd. Three embryos sell. A rare opportunity to invest in the future of the BELL cow family through a mating we believe has tremendous potential.

We couldn’t be more excited to offer the very first Fullblood embryos from ADR Bellacruise 321L. Bellacruise has always been destined for the donor pen, earning the title of National Champion Fullblood Heifer at the 2024 YCSA World Congress while combining the phenotype, pedigree, and cow family we value most. Bellacruise stems from the renowned Bell cow family, one of the foundation cow families at Anchor D Simmentals. She is a full sister to ADR Krush 524K, selected by Double Bar D Farms, and ADR Mirabella 21M, selected by Masterloc Simmentals—two of the highest-selling cattle we’ve produced to date. Deep-bodied, dark red, and heavily pigmented, Bellacruise combines power, femininity, and the maternal quality we believe will make her an outstanding donor for years to come. Mated to the extremely powerful, thick-made JNR Barbarian, we believe this combination brings together Bellacruise’s maternal strength and structural correctness with Barbarian’s added muscle, power, and performance. Whether you’re searching for your next herd bull or cornerstone donor female, we believe this mating has all the pieces to produce something special.

We purchased Michelob in 2024 from Kuntz Simmental in partnership with Wolfe Farms, and after two calf crops, our confidence in him continues to grow. Michelob is the kind of herd bull we appreciate. He is powerful and heavily muscled, with plenty of presence, while still being extremely sound on his feet and easy to handle. Michelob is backed by a cow family that has proven its ability to produce herd bulls. His dam 517C, has built a reputation for doing exactly that across multiple matings, and Michelob is continuing that consistency in his own progeny. His first two calf crops have been thick made, easy fleshing, sound structured, excellent dispositions inside of a nice moderate made package. One of the things that has impressed us most has been how Michelob has combined that power with consistently low birth weights and excellent calving ease. After two calf crops with no calving issues, we had enough confidence in Michelob to use him on heifers this year. We look forward to seeing his first calves out of the heifer pen and are confident he’ll continue to deliver the same combination of calving ease, performance, and quality we’ve seen from him so far. We’re excited to offer semen on Michelob and, more importantly, excited about the direction he’s headed.

An incredibly unique and exclusive opportunity to acquire embryos from FGAF 096F, a bigbodied, exceptionally uddered, good-footed Raptor female from the renowned Kananaskis cow family. We have only ever offered embryos from 096F once before through public auction, making this a truly special opportunity to access a female and cow family we have tremendous confidence in. As a result of those embryos, a fall feature and high seller from Elm Tree to Red Willow last fall further demonstrated the cow power behind 096F. It only seemed fitting to offer the French Attack embryos at Anchor D, the program responsible for making him the legend he is today. Danny has said many times that French Attack is the best bull to ever walk the Anchor D pastures. One has to wonder, what would a female be worth out of this mating? We have also mated 096F to JNR BERETTA, our newly acquired herd bull and maternal brother to JNR BARBARIAN. The resulting calf would be highly related to a JNR BARBARIAN/096F bull in our bull pen, who we expect to be a feature at the Bull Rush Sale next February. Choice of two exceptional matings from a female and cow family with the ability to make something truly special.

Big bodied and stout made best describes Raina. Raina is a result of a flush we did a few years ago on a very good Tacoma daughter, Yvette. She has put numerous bulls through our bull sales, a heifer to Lonestone Farms and 4 daughters into our own herd, one being a flush mate to Raina. Her Radon bull calf at side stands near the top of the fullblood bull pen and Raina so happens to be bred up the exact same way. Raina is a heifer that would be staying home but with her full sister at home and embryos in the tank she comes available. A powerful heifer that will raise herdbulls. “Bowman” is an unsung hero around here. This is a bull that has far exceeded his expectations. When we found him, he wasn’t the bull we initially went with intentions of buying but after analyzing him we felt he was the one. We are sure glad we made that decision. “Bowman” is extremely sound, easy fleshing and has the most tremendous temperament which he passes on to his offspring. This is a bull you can use to add pigmentation, and thicken them up in a hurry, and also is very reliable in moderating birth weights. His calves have been very well liked. His 9 sons that sold this spring average $18,000, and 5 daughters last fall averaged $18,500. He has secured himself as one of our mainstay go to bulls in our battery. Interestingly we only had a handful of daughters, and they were retained so we felt we should at least offer semen on this great bull. One of the toughest things to find is that Rock Star heifer bull. We typically sample size a few heifers when trying out a new heifer bull, but with “Intrepid” we felt extremely confident in him and threw him straight to work on the heifer pen. He did exactly what we asked of him, and then some. His first calves hit the ground running, and only continued to impress us from there. His calves for the most part come heavily pigmented and dark red, but have some style and ampule growth to them. You will see three daughters in this sale, and he also had three sons sell this spring, all going to work in heifer pens themselves and averaging an impressive $13,900, not to shabby for first calvers. He will be slated to head to stud this winter and semen will be available for the 2027 breeding season. PUREBRED D I V I S I O N
“
Our Purebred division is significantly younger than our Fleckvieh division, but has truly really started to take form just in the last 10, with a key focus on developing those key cow families and the addition of some elite walking bulls. The beautiful part about the Simmental breed is its diversification, while still being able to produce highly efficient cattle that possess both calving ease and performance, while still being able to produce the ultimate cow in the process. As you can see, we have infused Fleckvieh genetics into this division as well to just allow us to offer different pedigrees to the Purebred sector. Our Purebred division just enables us to service that many more customers needs and not getting away from our vision of the type of cattle we want to produce.

“Maryn” is a tank. “El Dorado” has done a spectacular job for us stamping his progeny. Regardless if they are bulls or heifers, they are wide topped, big soggy cattle with tons of dimension and shape, structurally correct and loads of hair. His first daughters are now in production and have beautifully sculpted udders and are very nice young cows. The dam of “Maryn” is similarly built, big and broody only in a black package, tracing back to our original Black donor cow “Painted Smile”. A great heifer

“Hot Flash” has a very different take on her pedigree. Yes another “El Dorado” with that same shape and substance, but the twist is the Fleckvieh influence on the bottom side. She too traces back to the “Painted Smile” cow family but you will notice her dam is a ½ Fleckvieh with both “Barbossa & Precious Thing” right there on her pedigree. Her grand dam “Brock” is our #1 Black cow, and with “Liner” you just know she’s going to be good. I can only imagine how good this females bull calves will be and with the extra money stripe is only added value. Keep every daughter she produces they will be grande. What an opportunity.

A different cow family in “Janna” but equally as powerful. We bred all our Black heifers to “Barbossa” one year, and the females we got are unmatched. Beautiful Black Baldies that just go out and get the job done. “Janna” has a full brother this year that will easily be one of our feature red bulls next February. She also had a ½ sister that sold a couple years ago to Down Hill Simmentals, MB. Zero doubt in my mind this heifer will be very special and be a prolific producer. Last year was our first set of “Red Rock” calves. Many of them are from “El Dorado” daughters. This cross works. He calves well and they have lots of grow. This is just a complete package.

One of the best kept secrets in our bull battery was “Whiskey”. He got over shadowed by “El Dorado” but this bull was no slouch. Although his numbers have been somewhat smaller due to being used more heavily on the commercial side his progeny have topped our sales. Last year thankfully we used him heavier, as we unfortunately were forced to ship him just prior to breeding season this year with an injury. His bull calves will be easily noticed next spring, and due to smaller numbers, these will likely be the very last daughters to sell. “Whiskey Sour” is a very special heifer that demands your attention. I really like how we have her bred back as well. This is a special offering.

As you can see, we like to mix things up on the Purebred side to try and introduce some different genetics, by infusing the use of some Fleckvieh genetics. The dam of “Kenadee” is a red blaze faced ¾ Fleckvieh female, tracing back to the great “Pocahontas 105L” cow on the bottom. Unique blend offers proven genetics from both sides of the breed all wrapped up in one special package. Same as the last female tracing back to the great “Pocahontas” cow family, this heifer also comes from the same cow family. Her dam was purchased from LaBatte Simmentals as a calf. I asked Barry to pick us out a heifer calf, and he dug her out of the keeper pen, sight unseen, and did she ever produce. I have mixed feelings about parting with her as this was her final calf, however with a full sister in the herd we felt we could part with her. As proven pedigree as we can offer, coming from a cow that always produced at the top of the class. Zero guess work here.

“Nava” is a female that I grow to appreciate more with time. She is a very correct female that is virtually fault free. She is super easy keeping, very feminine, yet still has a broodiness about her. Her dam is a really nice young cow that produced “Nava” as a first calving heifer. Her pedigree is enriched with quality boasting “Capacity & Joker” with a blend of Fleckvieh going back to “Klyber”. “Nahla” is yet another female that offers the best from both sides of our breed through the blending of Purebred and Fleckvieh genetics. This has been a very powerful cow family for us producing many high selling bulls for us in the past. The addition of “Barbossa” on the bottom side offers a bit more maternal, calving ease and growth. Not that I’m big on EPD’s but if you ever want to look up and impressive set look at his, they are pretty neat. Back to the heifer herself. This is a really solid made dark red heifer with tons of hair, length and thickness. A real beauty that will mate well with a huge cross section of bulls. The options are endless here.

Sired by Pillar, Naomi offers an exciting combination of calving ease and performance. If you’re looking for the kind of female that’s built to raise bulls, Heather should be high on your list. She’s a powerful, cowy-made female backed by a pedigree built around the same traits, with plenty of substance and a strong, functional foot underneath her. Heather isn’t one we’re trying to make overly complicated; she’s the kind of female I expect to go to work and raise the type of powerful, marketable bulls we’re all trying to produce. Heather is bred to Mountain View, and this is a mating I’m particularly excited about. We’ve already seen a similar genetic combination work extremely well, producing a deep-made, attractive, dark cherry-red bull calf. With the power and cowiness Heather brings to the table, I think Mountain View should complement her extremely well and give her every opportunity to knock it out of the park on her first try.

Golden Girl comes from my favourite cow out of the females we’ve acquired from WLB, and it’s not hard to see why. Her mother is extremely attractive through her front one-third, proud headed, deep made, and exceptionally stylish, all while maintaining a near-perfect udder. Golden Girl carries many of those same qualities. She has a ton of rib, that same proud-headed look, and great teat placement, as well as showing structural integrity that gives me a lot of confidence in her future. She’s one of those females that might not demand all the attention at first glance, but the longer you study her, the more there is to appreciate. She’s bred to Black Gold Red Rock, a bull that has been knocking it out of the park on our heifers, consistently producing dark red, smooth-made, fancy calves. One of the things I appreciate most about Red Rock is the extra stretch he puts into his progeny, and I think that’s exactly what will complement Golden Girl. Between the maternal quality behind her and a mating that fits her this well, I wouldn’t overlook this one. SFM STOUGHTON 18D

Our Black numbers are somewhat small, so in order to add a few in the sale we had to reach out of our comfort zone and add in a couple that should likely have been retained. “Marrisa” is one of those heifers that comes to us via an embryo purchased from Todd Simmentals in Quebec. Her donor dam is an outstanding female, and “No Limits” certainly needs no introduction. This heifer was slated to stay and is only made available because of a full sister on the ground this year. They have beautiful udder attachment, and are doing a very good job on their calves while still maintaining above average condition. When we purchased “El Dorado” we sold 5 semen packages on him, and have marketed a very limited amount in our production sale. We will once again offer 3 packages of 5 straws, and this will be the only semen we market on him for the 2027 breeding season. Stored at Alta Genetics.

There are Good Bulls, there are Great Bulls and there are Legends, we were fortunate to have this Legend walk our pastures. I guess it simply could be all wrapped up in one brief sentence. “The greatest animal to ever walk our pastures was French Attack”.

We wanted to end the catalogue with something special. Certainly nothing new, but where do we even begin. We said goodbye to “French Attack” last September. Although he is gone his impact will live on forever, and a special tribute to him in the new barn he helped build, will remind us of him every day. He has hands down had the largest impact on our herd of any animal we have ever owned. He wasn’t just a bull, he was family. We knew his time was limited, and in the end, he looked forward to his daily visits, and he loved a good back scratch. We grew to expect phenomenal early maturing cattle, that had his stamp of excellence on them. Sound footed, easy fleshing, heavily pigmented, and perhaps the best bull we have ever used to strengthen udders. Regardless if it was a bull or a heifer, they were always marketable. I think one of his strongest attributes was his ability to elevate the quality of our middle end cows. He could take a good one and make it great. Like every other bull sure there were a few that didn’t make the cut but the retention rate on his calves was probably the highest of any bull we have ever used. Of the 343 registered progeny 232 of them carry the Anchor D prefix. We had the misfortune of having a semen tank go dry, and as luck would have it that tank held the on-farm use “French Attack” semen, so even though we do still have an inventory, it is much smaller than we would like, as we have full intentions of continuing to use him. So be aware that his semen will be somewhat limited but we felt as a tribute to him we would part with some as this is a bull that needs to be shared with our breed. We will offer 3 packages of 2 straws each. I know 6 straws isn’t a lot, but it will allow for a few elite cows to get a flush. Semen is exportable.
