COMPAS 2024–25 Anthology of Selected Works from the COMPAS Creative Classroom Program.
What do young Minnesota writers imagine when given the space to create? One Blue Marble is your invitation to step inside those classrooms and find out.
For more than half a century, COMPAS has empowered students to discover their stories and share their voices. What started in 1967 as poets inspiring young writers has grown into one of the nation’s most dynamic arts organizations, reaching thousands of students each year and millions of Minnesotans since its inception.
Within these pages, you’ll find the results of classroom collaborations between thousands of Minnesota students, hundreds of classroom teachers, and twelve COMPAS Teaching Artists. Each poem, story, and idea is shaped by young authors eager to express themselves through words. This 46th Anthology of Student Writing stands as proof: creativity belongs to everyone.
