That's not always the case The first 8 years of my life I had my biological father Now I’m 18 years of age And it's been 10 years since I’ve seen him in person

On the other hand There is my stepdad The man who stepped up Took in two arrogant teenage boys And took on the responsibility of parenting
Through the ups and downs He stayed no matter what No matter how much I hated him on occasion He still tolerated it And I learned to tolerate him And in the end He was there for my brother and I
One day I will ask my biological father How’s Ireland and the two new kids you have?
