Area fairs and festivals offer diversions throughout season By Jenna RiTTMan The summer rapidly approaching brings many fairs and festivals to New Jersey. From an art walk to a music festival, there’s something out there for everyone. Read more about all the festivities happening this summer down below. Pride on the Plaza. This annual, all-age dance party features live music, a marketplace, and various activities. The event is a celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, and centers on making everyone feel accepted. The dance party will feature a special appearance by drag artist Gym Da Hollow. In the event of rain, Pride on the Plaza will be held in the Community Room of the Princeton Public Library. Nottingham Garden Club tour set to bloom once again By RiCh FisheR Spring is here in all its glory, and the Nottingham Garden Club wants to show off much of the glory that Hamilton Township has to offer. On Saturday, June 20 – the official final day of spring, in fact – the well-respected club is sponsoring its annual Nottingham Garden Tour. For $15, tour goers will be able to view the splendor of three public gardens

and seven of the township’s private gardens at their home. The cost of a ticket not only provides a day of bucolic beauty, but goes toward raising funds for supporting the watershed. It helps youngsters experience nature by helping defer the cost of them attending two specific nature camps. This helps encourage children to become young nature enthusiasts who will become the future protectors of our See GARDEN, Page 8

It’s almost like Eet Gud having its entire building demolished. That’s how much the sight of Wes “The Media” Mogul will be missed at Nottingham High School. He was as much a part of the athletic fields scenery as the bakery across the street. And even more a part of the Nottingham athletic fabric. Wes died on May 9, from complications due to an auto accident. Over 60 of his 86 years were spent taking photos of Northstar athletes, among other media duties he provided for the football team. “That void will never be filled,” said former football coach and athletic director Jon Adams, who was Kirkpatrick’s closest friend. “It’s enormous. I don’t know if I can deal mentally with not seeing him on those sidelines or around that school’s athletic facility.
