OUR COMMUNITY. OUR MOMENT. Broward is a community defined by generosity, compassion, and a shared commitment to improving lives. Every day, we see what's possible when people come together and lead with love. For more than 40 years, the Community Foundation of Broward has provided community leadership, fostered bold philanthropy, and built permanent, endowed resources to tackle Broward's biggest challenges — today and forever. We partner with individuals, families, and local organizations to create personalized charitable funds that fuel game-changing philanthropy across the county.

We have reached a defining moment. Our current space can no longer keep pace with the scale of Broward's philanthropy — or with the community we've grown to serve. It's time to take the next bold step.

WE’VE FOUND OUR FUTURE HOME The search is over. The Community Foundation of Broward has purchased 200 N. Andrews Avenue in the heart of Fort Lauderdale as the site of our new, permanent headquarters. This is no longer a question of where we will go — it is a question of what we will build together.

The property is purchased. Now, we need Broward to help us transform it. With the real estate decision behind us, our full attention turns to renovating 200 N. Andrews into a home worthy of Broward's philanthropic future: a hub for community collaboration, a welcoming front door for nonprofits and donors, and a visible, permanent symbol of what generosity can build when a community leads with love.

THE OPPORTUNITY We are now raising $10 million to design, build out, and furnish 200 N. Andrews Avenue as a lasting legacy for Broward. This campaign will: ●

Build a hub for community collaboration and innovation

●

Create welcoming, permanent spaces for nonprofits, donors, and partners

●

Support dynamic meetings and gatherings not only for the Community Foundation but for our nonprofit partners, corporations, community leaders, elected officials, and other constituents

●

Expand our ability to convene, connect, and lead across Broward

●

Increase visibility and access to philanthropy throughout the county

This is more than a renovation project — it is the construction of a place where community comes together and where impact grows for generations to come.

WHY THIS SPACE, WHY NOW ●

We have outgrown our current space — Broward's philanthropy has simply grown beyond it.

●

A strategic, permanent property at 200 N. Andrews Avenue has already been purchased — the foundation for our future is set.

●

This location is in the heart of downtown, easily accessible to the entire County and strategically located next to new City Hall and a beautiful new downtown park.

●

The need for connection and collaboration across Broward's nonprofit and donor community has never been greater.

Now that the location is settled, every dollar raised goes directly toward building the future — not toward the search for a home. This is a moment to act boldly, lead with love, and transform 200 N. Andrews into the permanent home Broward's philanthropy deserves.

CREATES PERMANENCE, PREDICTABILITY AND SUPPORT •

Mission Permanence: Eliminates the risk of forced relocation due to lease termination or building sales.

•

Financial Predictability: Replaces fluctuating, unpredictable rent increases with stabilized, fixed operational costs.

•

Uninterrupted Service and Support for the Community: Ensures we offer continuous support for our non-profit community partners and donors.

YOUR ROLE We are inviting a small group of committed leaders to help bring this vision to life. With the location decided, your investment now funds renovations — the tangible, visible act of building Broward's philanthropic future. Your investment will: ●

Help create a permanent home for impact at 200 N. Andrews Avenue

●

Strengthen Broward's nonprofit and philanthropic ecosystem for decades to come

●

Leave a legacy in a named space that will serve our community for generations

Renovation Campaign Goal: $10 Million We are seeking leadership gifts to move construction forward quickly and decisively. Together, we can lead with love — and build a future that reflects the strength, generosity, and vision of Broward.

THIS IS MORE THAN A BUILDING It is a place for impact. A space where ideas are shared, partnerships are formed, and lives are changed. Inside these walls, the work of a generous community will come alive every day. •

Nonprofit leaders will gather in welcoming meeting rooms to plan collaborations that carry their missions further than any one organization could reach alone.

•

Donors will sit down with the causes they care about in a conference room built for exactly that purpose, while smaller, quieter spaces hold the conversations that change everything for someone — a grant officer walking a first-time applicant through a proposal, two organizations discovering they're stronger together, or a board weighing its next bold step for Broward.

•

And throughout it all, the Foundation's own team will carry out the quieter, essential work of philanthropy: reviewing grants, stewarding donors, and making sure every dollar that passes through finds its way to the place where it can do the most good.

This is what a permanent home makes possible — not just meetings and offices, but a steady, beating center for generosity in Broward County, built to serve this community for generations to come. By leading with love, we will build a home that reflects the strength and compassion of our community — and ensure this work continues to grow and serve Broward for generations to come.
