POWERHOUSE PARRAMATTA UNVEILS EXHIBITION
P
ARRAMATTA Square will become an even brighter and more vibrant destination at night with concepts endorsed for new lighting in the precinct. Set to improve the visitor experience, the Parramatta Square Lighting project will help create a more welcoming and engaging city centre both day and night. City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said the project reflects Council’s commitment to creating a safe, vibrant and world-class CBD. “Parramatta Square is the heart of our CBD and this project will help make it an even more welcoming and inviting place to visit after dark,” Cr Zaiter said. “Great cities are defined by great public spaces, and Parramatta is no exception.” Stage 1 of the project will focus on five locations across Parramatta Square and is expected to be complete in late 2027.
