What is MyMedicare?

MyMedicare is a free and optional way to tell Medicare who your usual GP and clinic are.

Registering with your regular GP and general practice can help you stay healthier.

How to register?

Your information stays private MyMedicare is a registration system only.

To register, you need a Medicare card or DVA Veteran Card and usually have seen the practice before.

• It does not store your health records

You can register:

• It only lists your chosen GP and clinic

• online, or

• Your personal details are protected by law

• ask your general practice to help you.
