f course, selling larger homes can be easier in some ways and have a larger financial gain. It’s equally as satisfying to hand the keys over to an excited buyer just starting out as a homeowner and who wants to live modestly; and then to have that same buyer call you years later to have you help them purchase another new home and sell their first one when life changes. There is also a sense of quiet relief when you can tell a seller that their home they worked very hard to get has closed to a thrilled new owner, instead of narrowly missing foreclosure for reasons not for us to judge, or partly because they almost waited too long to call you to help. And sometimes, we are helping “the millionaire next door” with their real estate needs. They could afford so much more, and choose not to. I’ve often told newer agents to never, ever assume someone’s financial position simply because of their cars, house, or even, their attire.
