Myrtle R. Ruch, 93

WESTBOROUGH - Myrtle R. Ruch, 93, of Westborough, passed away on April 1, 2021 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northborough. She was the Plain. She also leaves her four grandchildren, all whom she adored, Gian Marco, Vincent, Francesca, and Aiden. Sandra was preceded in death by a brother, Richard V. Squillacote; a sister, Joan S. Chevalier; and Joan’s husband, Maurice.

Sandra M. Benotti, 74

NORTHBOROUGH - Sandra Marilyn (Squillacote) Benotti, 74, passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy battle with cancer. A longtime resident of Northborough, Sandra was the devoted wife of 47 years to Joseph R. Benotti, MD and a beloved mother to her four children.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, Sandra is survived by her four children, Mark Benotti and his wife Julie of Duxbury, Johanna Benotti and her husband Michael Lafleur of Melrose, Andrew Benotti of Northborough, and Emily Benotti and her husband Jason Lowell of Jamaica

Susan F. Clickner, 86

1934 - 2021

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” - Thomas Campbell

I share a tribute to the life of my best friend, my mom. Susan Doreen Fisher Clickner, 86, (2 weeks away from her 87th birthday) died at home with me of breast cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Clickner of Holden; her daughter, Jennifer Engle, husband Raphael, and their son Tristan (Susan’s youngest grandchild) of Geneva, Switzerland; I, her daughter Wendy Prescott whom Susan lived with in Shrewsbury; her granddaughter, Rachel Hudson and husband Steele of West Boylston; and her grandson, Josh Prescott and wife Ashley of Shrewsbury. She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth H. Fisher and Doris L. Glunz.

There will be no service. Chiampa Funeral Home of Shrewsbury assisted with arrangements.

Linda C. Hubley, 68

SOUTHBOROUGH - Linda C. (Roake) Hubley, 68, of Southbor ough, passed away on April 1, 2021 at home, after a brave 10-month struggle with brain cancer. She was the beloved wife of George “Skip” Hubley for the past 42 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Matthew Hubley and Tanya Curran and her husband Patrick; her grandchildren, Gianna and Sophia Hubley; her siblings, Eileen Roake, Stephen Roake and his wife Valerie, and Carol Stepnitz and her husband Larry; an uncle and two aunts; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

John H. Kohland, 84

HUDSON - John H. Kohland, 84, died on April 2, 2021 after a long period of failing health. He was the husband of Ann (Gillman) Kohland of Hudson. They were married for 61 years.

He was born in Cobleskill, N.Y., the son of the late Harry and Victoria (Schaffer) Kohland, and lived in Lake George, N.Y. prior to moving to Hudson three years ago.

Mr. Kohland was a veteran of both the United States Army, serving during the Korean War, and the United States Navy Reserves.

He served as a New York State Trooper for 20 years, retiring in 1980. After his retirement he went to work driving buses for Trailways. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed traveling with his family in their motor home.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Park and her husband Charles “Larry” of Marlborough; a granddaughter, Lindsay Park and her husband Eric Mammoser of Marlborough; two brothers, Fred Kohland of Ohio and Craig Kohland of California; one sister, Beverly Elwell of Oneonta, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Kohland.

A private family burial service was held.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Sharon A. Timmons, 76

HUDSON - Sharon “Sherry” Ann Timmons passed away peacefully in the early morning of March 31, 2021. She was born April 14, 1944 in Ware, the daughter of the late Marjorie and Earl Johnson.

Sherry is survived by her sisters, Sandra Roes, Ellen Duprey, and Gail Moseley, and was the loving mother to Tammi-Lynn, Roger, Terri, Troy, Charlotte, Christina, and Coreena, the grandmother of 19, and great-grandmother of five.

A friend to many, always sharing her love of life. Sherry made her life and career in Hudson, where she worked as the Property Manager at Peter’s Grove.

Sherry enjoyed reading, gardening, long conversations, traveling, art, music, Broadway shows, and cooking. She was an amazing cook; adding love and flavor to every dish... Sherry was a thrillseeker, she began skydiving at age 57.

Sherry will be missed by her family, but we take comfort in knowing that she walks in Heaven with her late husband, Eddie, and grandson, Sebastian.
