Eleanor C. McKeever, 83

WESTBOROUGH - Eleanor C. McKeever, 83, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2021 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Dr. John

McKeever.

Eleanor is survived by five children, Ann Fenlason and her husband Peter of Barre, Patrick McKeever of Harrisville, R.I., Marjorie McDonald of Grafton, John McKeever of Worcester, and Robert McKeever of Westborough; six grandchildren, Lindsay Burke (Kevin), Katherine McGee (Joseph), Carl McKeever (Megan), Sean McKeever (Amanda), James McDonald and Benjamin McDonald; five great-grandchildren, Lauryn, Dylan, Autumn, Riley, and Mya; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Snow, and a brother, Robert Casey.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated March 2 at St. Luke the Evangelist Church of Westborough, with burial at St. Luke’s Cemetery.

Mary G. Baskwoski, 98

GRAFTON - Mary Gloria (Valladoa) Baskowski, late of Grafton, passed peacefully from this earth on the starry, clear night of Feb. 24, 2021, surrounded by several of her children and

grandchildren.

She leaves a sister, Connie Gaucher of Fairhaven; sons Joseph and his wife Karen Shaw of Holliston, Stephen and his wife Carolyn of Gill, and Richard and his wif, Janet of Brookfield; daughter-in-law Anne Baskowski of Grafton; daughters Gloria Paradiso and her partner Wayne Haddad, Ann Gurney, and Carol Dauphinais and husband Craig, all of Grafton; 19 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Helen (Regan) Valladoa and Francisco and his daughter, Marian, her husband Francois, and Marian’s children Nicolas and Fiona.

Private burial services will take place at a later date in the spring. Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

(Frank) Valladoa; brothers Francis, Richard and Mark Valladoa; sisters Helen Shanley and Jean Quinn; son Jeffrey Baskowski; grandson Nicholas Baskowski; and husband of 63 years, Joseph Baskowski, who passed away on Nov. 5, 2009.

A funeral Mass for Mary was held March 6 at St. James Catholic Church in South Grafton, withburial beside her beloved Joe at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.

Susan G. Fleming, 70

GRAFTON - Susan G. (Griffin) Fleming, 70, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 24, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Warren E. Griffin and Addie Delphine Griffin, also from Grafton.

She leaves behind her longtime partner and love of 30 years, Jim; her two children, Jonathan M. Fleming of Worcester and Valery S. Fleming of Worcester; her one and only grandson, Maxwell D. Magliaro; her brother, Roger Griffin and wife Patty and their children Heather Stevens and Chris Griffin; and extended cousins and relatives. Her live-in-aid, Martha, who cared for her extensively, will always have a place in our hearts.

Services were private. Roney Funeral Home of North Grafton assisted with arrangements.

Henry Buswell Jr., 88

WESTBOROUGH - Henry W. Buswell, 88, of Westborough, passed away just after midnight on Feb. 22, 2021 in his sleep at UMass Memorial. Henry was born in Pawtucket, R.I., to the late Henry W. Buswell Sr. and his wife Noella Doyle Buswell.

Henry was predeceased by his parents; his daughter. Muriel; and his second wife. Jeannine. He is survived by his first wife. Rose France; and their children: his son. Henry, and his wife Laurence, their children Alice and Mickael; his son. Lloyd;

Corliss L. Loomer, 89

SHREWSBURY - Corliss L. (Vaughn) Loomer, 89, former secretary for the Town of Shrewsbury, died peacefully on Feb. 28, 2021. Born and raised in Lowell, daughter of the late Ashton and Mabel (Clauson) Vaughn. She was the devoted wife of Sumner W. “Sonny” Loomer, who passed in 2006. Corliss was the loving mother of Scott B. Loomer and his wife Patricia of Sandwich and the late Steven A, Loomer; motherin-law of Deborah Loomer of Gill; grandmother of Ashley Rollins and Jessica Alger, both of Fitchburg, Brady Loomer of Southborough, and Ericka Glebocki of Manchester, Conn.; great-grandmother of five beautiful great-grandchildren; and is also survived by her sister, Karen Riberdy of Greenville, R.I., as well as nieces and nephews and many special friends and the wonderful, caring staff at Briarwood and Knollwood, including Donna Prescott, her friend and caregiver.

A graveside service was held March 5 at the Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury. The Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Albert A. Rogers, 96

SHREWSBURY - Albert A. Rogers (formerly Rojcewicz), 96, of Shrewsbury and St. Martin, formerly a longtime resident of Northborough, died on March 1, 2021. Albert was a proud and decorated World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force.

He leaves his wife of 73 years, Adelaide (Staplin) Rogers; a son, Albert Rogers II of Northborough; and three grandchildren, Jill Becker-Witherell of Louisville, Ky., John Anthony Becker of West Boylston, and Albert Rogers III of New Hampshire. Albert was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Karbowski of West Boylston; his five sisters, Felicia Fontain, Leocadia Guenter, Gertrude Barry, Helen Maher, and Johanna Parker; and his brother, John Rojcewicz).

A calling hour was held March 6 at Hays Funeral Home of Northborough, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Bernadette Parish and burial with military honors at the Howard Street Cemetery of Northborough.

Beverly Schmidt, 89

SHREWSBURY - Beverly (Watson) Schmidt, 89, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Cromwell, Conn., and Manhasset, N.Y., passed away on Feb. 25, 2021 after a brief illness.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harry P. Schmidt; her son, Greg Schmidt and his wife Sharon of Harvard; her daughter, Carol Swegle of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and her grandsons, Matthew and Jon Schmidt and Scott Swegle and his wife Maddy and Jeff Swegle. She was predeceased by her beloved brother, William Watson.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Chiampa Funeral Home of Shrewsbury is assisting with arrangements.
