Shrewsbury High mascot study group to have increased participants By Melanie Petrucci Senior Community Reporter SHREWSBURY - Dr. Joseph Sawyer, superintendent of Shrewsbury Public Schools, anHigh School (SHS) Mascot Ad Hoc Study Group. Assabet community helps to stock local food pantries Assabet Student Council members Codey Daly of Marlborough and Kelsey True of Hudson take a brief break from stocking shelves at a local food pantry. MARLBOROUGH - Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School’s Student Council recently sponsored a food drive. Thanks to the generosity of the Assabet staff, students, and the surrounding community, they were able to fill five cars and two pickup trucks full of food. Additionally, the students raised just over $450 in cash donations. They were then able to stock the shelves at pantries in Hudson, Marlborough, Clinton, and Berlin.
