Colts Neck Rallies Against Anti-Semitism

More than 200 citizens gathered at Township Hall to express their support for Israel. This event was organized by Township of Colts Neck officials, Rabbi Ephi Carlebach of Chabad of Colts Neck, all local churches, and the Police and Fire Departments.

Rabbi Ephi Carlebach spoke about the situation facing the citizens of Israel, and offered a prayer for the safety of all. In addition, words of support were shared by Chris Durkin of the Colts Neck Community Church, and the Psalms of David were recited by Reverend Scott Brown of the Colts Neck Reformed Church. A candle vigil followed led by the clergymen, and the Township Council. A memorial prayer for all the victims, and prayer for the hostages was sung by Cantor Mendy Pezner. Additional Psalms were led by Dr. Carly Mcllvaine & Kathy Woolston from the S. Mary’s choir.
