It hardly seems like there was a winter, yet, as I write this, there is more snow in the forecast than we have seen for the entire year Such is life in Minnesota, I guess. But, I promise we don't have our catalogs flipped and that this is, in fact, the spring catalog. TADPOLE | 3+ YEARS OLD

Introduction to basic swimming skills and having fun in the water!

SQUIRTS | 4-5 YEARS OLD

Progressive skills include rhythmic bobbing, back float with a float belt, back glide and flutter kick with float belt, submerging and breath holding for up to 8 seconds.

YOUTH | 6+ YEARS OLD

For children ages 6 years old and older

Progressive skills include front glide and flutter kick, back glide and flutter kick, front stroke, front crawl, backcrawl, retrieving objects from bottom, treading water, introduction to diving, sidestroke, breast stroke and survival float

COMMUNITY POOL

Our aquatic facility includes a 25 meter wide by 25 yard long eight lane main pool

Water depth ranges from 3'6" to 12'

Air temperature is 83-85 degrees

Water temperature is 82-84 degrees

The main pool includes an attached diving well of 12' depth with two one-meter springboards.

We have a separate 10' x 20' wading pool designed for infants and preschoolers

Water depth ranges from 1' to 1'6"

Water temperature is 88-90 degrees

CELEEBRATE WITH US

Bring your child and their friends to celebrate a birthday at the Community Pool! There will be staff on site to assist with check in, set up and tear down of the gym. Birthday hosts should plan for light clean up of party and refreshment areas Parental supervision is required

All food and refreshments are provided by the hosting birthday party group

Birthday groups will have use of the pool for 1 hour with 1 hour reserved pool lobby space for cake and refreshments (provided by the family). Lifeguard and additional aquatic staffing will be provided and 2 adults must be present for the duration of the party

Cost is $190 for 10 kids - additional $5 per child with a 15 child max

Preschool Plus Parents is a 2 days/week program for 3-5 year olds and their parents/guardians Parents/guardians and children attend class one day each week together, and children attend the second day by themselves.

Parent/guardians participation on parent/child days is required, as activities set up in the classroom are designed for children to do with their parents/guardians

Little Wildcats Preschool is designed to prepare children and families for the transition to kindergarten We focus on prereading, writing, and communication skills, number awareness and social skills.

Summer care is offered for children who have completed Preschool and are 5 years old through completed Grade 5 Activities include: arts and crafts, gym time, outdoor activities, field trips and more!

Summer Kids Club runs from June 17 - August 16

K-5 program is open from 6:00am - 6:00pm and is offered at Lakeside Elementary and Taylors Falls Elementary.

The Preschool program is open from 7:00am - 5:00pm and is only offered at Lakeside Elementary.

Kids Club is closed July 3-5

Kids Club is a Preschool and School Age childcare program that provides high quality services that will grow with your child We work to offer a variety of activities to engage all students Program activities include arts and crafts, active play, building relationships and friendships, and developing social skills

Kids Club offers flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of your family!

Kids Club is proud to offer a companion child care program to our Little Wildcats Preschool schedule All children entering our program must be enrolled in Little Wildcats Preschool and are 4 years old as of September 1 of the current school year (i e Must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024 for the 2024-25 school year).

Before and after school care is offered for children in Kindgergarten through Grade 5 We are also open for Adventure days (select non-school days) Activities inlude: arts and crafts, gym time, ourdoor activities and more Adventure Days activities include both onsite and offsite activities.

30 HOURS OF CLASS: Students under 18 must complete 30 hours of in class instruction before they are able to take the permit test Once the 30 hours of classroom is complete RAD will issue a “Blue card”. Students will take the blue card to the DMV as proof of course completion in order to take the permit test Once your child passes the permit test at the DMV they can drive with someone over the age of 21

Our Advanced Tennis CLINIC will be a special clinic catering specifically to students who have already played on either their varsity or JV teams in high school (or, for 7th graders, are pre-approved by the coaches*). The 1-1/2 hour clinic will be divided up into 2 sections: approximately the first ½ hour will be used to go over a specific skill (groundstrokes, volleys, serves, etc ) and then the last hour will be used for assigned matchplay They will also be shown actual game tactics and gamesmanship while participating in matchplay This approach will thus give students some training coupled with real play. Not only will students play in singles matches but they will also be given doubles training and then be assigned to doubles matches

School of Fish is a 2 1/2-hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) from grades 3 and up taught by pro angler and fishing TV show host Mike Frisch Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup

Join us for an evening filled with tons of activities! It's scheduled the same day as your child's transition day to the Middle School and this will make it a great way to end the day! FAWN-DOE-ROSA FIELD TRIP |

Step into nature at Fawn-Doe-Rosa! Come see all the baby animals - you'll meet deer, elk, geese and many other animals of the forest. Nature has so much to offer! Bring the whole family!

CELEEBRATE WITH US

Bring your child and their friends to celebrate a birthday at the Wildcat Community Center or Community Pool! Play games in the gym, have a nerf party or swim in the pool! There will be staff on site to assist with check in, set up and tear down of the gym. Birthday hosts should plan for light clean up of party and refreshment areas Parental supervision is required All food and refreshments are provided by the hosting birthday party group.
