WELCOME TO THE GEORGIA HEART & VASCULAR SYMPOSIUM

The Georgia Heart & Vascular Symposium is an outstanding learning opportunity for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, internists, primary care physicians, fellows, residents, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, technologists, paramedics and industry colleagues. The program will engage you with inspiring sessions, live cases, panel discussions, exhibits and more!

Georgia Heart Institute was launched as a culmination of all the clinical, educational, research and innovation activities of the entire heart & vascular service line of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS). This includes five residency programs and three fellowship programs - including a cardiovascular medicine fellowship. NGHS is a not-for-profit community health system anchored by Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s four hospital campuses in Gainesville, Braselton, Lumpkin and Barrow. Built on a rich legacy of excellence in heart and vascular care within the greater Atlanta and Northeast Georgia region, Georgia Heart Institute has already a distinguished reputation for its clinical excellence and multi-disciplinary services, making it one of the region’s elite destinations for cardiovascular care.

What an exciting time to be caring for patients with cardiovascular disease -- an era when we can leverage the disruptive technological, medical and pharmacological innovation to serve our patients and communities. The Georgia Heart and Vascular Symposium is designed to provide a patient-centric overview of specific aspects of contemporary cardiovascular care- allowing you to claim CME and MOC credits.

On behalf of the Program Committee of the Georgia Heart & Vascular Symposium, we are certain that the symposium will provide a unique and enriching educational and networking experience for the attendees and faculty.

Sincerely,
