Sometimes your mind doesn’t need another podcast, self‐help book, or profound Instagram quote with lovely mountains in the background Sometimes your mind needs: a sandwich, a walk, and a nap! The body, mind, and soul are all connected You are a holistic being When one area is unhealthy, the others start acting up too It’s like having three toddlers in the house When one toddler melts down, the others do too One starts crying, another starts throwing Goldfish crackers, and the third kid removes their pants in public Chaos! And that’s how the body, mind, and soul work too When your body is neglected, your mind starts throwing emotional Goldfish crackers everywhere Some Christians act like the body doesn’t matter, but it does Why? Because the body, mind, and soul, the physical, mental and spiritual are so intricately intertwined that what happens to one impacts the others! You can’t neglect your body and expect your mind to be healthy! Physical restoration fosters mental resilience! This is why the Apostle Paul writes, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price Therefore honor God with your bodies” (1 Corinthians 6:19‐20) Some of us treat our body more like a storage unit for junk than a temple for God We neglect rest, exercise, and a healthy diet, eating like racoons at a dumpster behind Waffle House! Emotional support gas station tacos at midnight and less than 6 hours of sleep will lead to a feeble mind Studies show that unhealthy habits of sleep, exercise, and diet significantly increase mental health struggles like depression One of the most beautiful things God created is your body, which contains your brain Give your body a healthy dose of sleep, exercise and diet and your mind and soul will thank you!

Diana “Diane” Marie Wheeler, age 59, of Otsego, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family Born in Plainwell, Michigan, Diane lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and unwavering kindness She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be remembered as a generous and caring soul who remained positive, even in life’s most difficult moments Her resilience was inspiring, and her sense of humor brought light and joy to those around her Diane’s greatest pride and joy was her family She is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Jerry Wheeler, and her loving parents, Elaine and Hollis Ross She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Candy and Randy Bradshaw, and her brothers, Marvin and Jackie Fox Jr , Russell and Shanda Fox, and Hank and Sarah Young, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched so deeply She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Fox Sr , and her beloved daughters, Vanessa Kay and Ashley Marie, whom she now joins in eternal peace Diane lived her life with purpose and heart, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her A Service and Celebration of Life will take place on June 4th, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Friendship Wesleyan Church, located at 1285 102nd Ave, Plainwell, Michigan 49080 Family and friends are invited to
