Marilyn passed away, Monday, May 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at Life Care Center in Plainwell She was born November 18, 1935, in Chicago, the daughter of Alex and Alice (Corbel) Kuklinski Marilyn enjoyed camping, shopping for jewelry, going out to eat and spending time with her friends and family On January 29, 1972, in Kalamazoo, she married Nelson Norton who passed away in 2013 Surviving are her children, Daniel (Lynn) Filtenborg of Shelbyville and Lisa Wheat of Three Rivers, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Dan Filtenborg and Nelson Norton and sister, Adeline Money According to her wishes cremation has taken place Private family burial of ashes will be held at Mountain Home Cemetery at a later time Contributions in memory of Marilyn may be directed to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital

She was born June 3, 1939, in Sault Ste Marie, the daughter of Harold and Mabel (Schwiderson)

Donna worked as an office manager at Harding’s Market until her retirement
Donna had many hobbies including bowling, reading, crocheting, knitting, doing puzzles, going to garage sales and playing cards with her girlfriends every Friday She was a skilled seamstress and during COVID made over 2,000 face masks Donna was a member of the Good Sam Mobile Mid Mittens Club Chapter 38 and the Sault Ste Marie Chippewa Tribe On June 30, 1956, in Galesburg, she married Eugene “Gene” Book who passed away in 2013 Surviving are her children, Eugenia (Roger) JacksonKling, Christopher (Kim) Book and Annette Bayne; grandchildren, Amy (Erik) Burkhead, Matthew (Jamie) Jackson, Michelle Payne, Nicole Kling and Nathan Kling; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kora, and Ivy Burkhead, Nolan and Nora Jackson, Zachariah and Journey McQuitty, Jackson Bryan and Alexis Schmitt; sister, Marion Klepper; sister-in-law, Deanna Elliott along with several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Shirley Thomas Friends visited with Donna’s family starting at 10:00 A M , Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A M , with Pastor Stephen Burrow officiating Burial followed at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego Contributions in memory of Donna may be directed to Christian Neighbors
