Treatment for Neuropathy Pain Have to Involve Prescription Drugs?

...ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Treating a problem by masking the symptoms has never been a viable long term solution Previous treatment options for

medications This type of pain relief is temporary Often these treatments lead to even more health problems, or worse yet

prescription pain pills while initially using them to alleviate the pain Many patients have been frustrated by traditional care, only to find their symptoms getting worse It is time to look into a solution to your pain that does not involve medication

Peripheral Neuropathy Explained

Peripheral Neuropathy occurs when nerves in the extremities are damaged or destroyed Like static on a telephone line, this interrupts the normal communication between the brain and the skin, muscles and other parts of the body This condition predominantly affects the peripheral limbs (legs, feet, arms, and hands)

Diabetes is one potential cause of peripheral neuropathy, as uncontrolled sugar levels can damage your nerves Some other causes of neuropathy may include: reduced blood flow, hereditary disorders, inflammation, vitamin deficiencies, and certain medications

There are many symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, which is essentially damage to the peripheral nerve system Some neuropathy sufferers describe it as wearing an invisible sock, pins and needles, burning pain, or extreme electric-like sensitivity to touch Others report the sensation of walking on broken glass or thumbtacks

NEUROPATHY FACTS

• More than 100 types of peripheral neuropathy have been identified, each with its own symptoms and prognosis

• Peripheral neuropathy may be either inherited or acquired through disease processes or trauma In many cases, however, a specific cause cannot be identified

• Peripheral nerves have the ability to regenerate axons, as long as the nerve cell itself has not died

Neuropathy May Contribute to Emotional Stress and Depression.

symptoms could be due to peripheral neuropathy It is a condition that can be misdiagnosed or ignored until it is unbearable This can affect all aspects of your life and may even cause emotional stress or depression

The Solution: Non-Surgical, Lasting Neuropathy Pain Treatment

Decompression we have developed a drug-free program

peripheral neuropathy The foundation of this highly successful treatment regimen is Light therapy called HealthLight The HealthLight device consists of boot and calf pads that contain more than 250 red and infrared diodes Light energy from the

production, and draws water, oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area Treatments are painless and gentle as the light is absorbed by the cells beneath the skin

This creates an optimal environment that helps reduce pain, inflammation, burning, tingling and numbness, and actually improves the ability to feel sensations

The Whole Program

In addition to the HealthLight, our program also incorporates several other modalities to improve nerve function, some of which include vibration therapy, balance training, and soft tissue m

necessary, to help address vitamin deficiencies and improve circulation With this multi faceted approach, we are able to customize the program to your individual needs and achieve the most effective results in relieving your symptoms of peripheral neuropathy

Not All Neuropathy Treatments Are Created Equal

There are many types of neuropathy treatments available today Do not confuse this treatment with a common TENS device that is designed to temporarily block nerve signals In fact, it is just the opposite – it works to improve nerve function

Are You a Candidate for our Peripheral Neuropathy Program?

Patients come to us with all types of peripheral neuropathy

The potential causes are many and sometimes there is no clear risk factor for neuropathy Regardless, our first step is to evaluate your specific case to determine if it is a type of peripheral neuropathy we can help If so, the prognosis is generally favorable and treatment time is predictable Your neuropathy pain may be significantly reduced or possibly eliminated without serious side effects or potential dependency on medication in as little as six weeks

Marcia Wells was born on May 24, 1952, in Munith, Michigan, to Hazel “Irene” (Bailey) and Grats “Buster” Howard During her childhood years, her family settled in Plainwell, Michigan - a place she would always call home While she spent short periods elsewhere, Plainwell is where she lived the life she loved and built the life she was so proud of She grew up alongside her siblings Eugene “Gene”, Betty, Kenny, Dave, Vivian, Linda, Grats “Bucky”, and Penny From an early age, Marcia helped care for her younger siblings and would often share stories of carrying Linda and Penny on her hip as they grew up She was deeply connected to her family, very close with her siblings, and cherished every moment spent together Being with her family was her favorite place to be She attended Delton Kellogg Schools and carried those values of love, hard work, and taking care of others with her throughout her life Marcia spent many years working at Stanford Lodge in Plainwell, Perrigo, Ferris State University in the kitchen, and William Crispe Nursing Home No matter where she was, people felt cared for That was simply who she was On December 21, 1971, she gave birth to her son, Brian, who became her entire world She loved being a mother - and she was truly, naturally, incredibly good at it In 1986, she met Rick Wells, and the two built a love that would last a lifetime They were married on June 20, 1987, and spent nearly 39 years side by side Together, they blended their families with love and intention - Rick with Debbie Dee, Ricky Jr , and Jake, and Marcia with Brian - and created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and deep connection They started out with a small radio to listen to, a truck that needed just a little encouragement to make it down the road, a few kids, and a whole lot of hope, faith, and love Over the years, they planted the seeds of something truly beautiful and tended to it together - growing a strong, loving family, much like the gardens Marcia cared for so deeply Marcia was a proud and devoted mother to Brian, Debbie Dee, Ricky Jr , and Jake She loved her children fiercely and completely She also shared a very special bond with her daughter-in-law Joanna, whom she loved as her own daughter Marcia loved life in a way you could feel She loved her home, which was always warm, welcoming, and beautifully kept Her flower gardens were full and thriving - a true reflection of her green thumb and her love for nature and the outdoors She loved to cook and bring people together, always making sure everyone was comfortable, cared for, and well fed Her greatest joy was her family - and she poured her whole heart into them She and Rick created countless memories traveling and camping, often packing up on a whim and heading up north for the weekend with a picnic basket and no real plan other than being together In their earlier years, she loved riding on the back of Rick’s motorcycle, holding on tight and enjoying every second In her later years, her beloved dog Chrissy became her constant companion, bringing comfort, joy, and steady love as Marcia faced health challenges with strength and grace She also loved her dogs Mistie and Kayla, who preceded her in death Marcia had a laugh that could lift any spirit and a smile that lit up every room Her heart was as big as Alaskafull of kindness, warmth, and love She had a way of making people feel seen, important, and deeply cared for Her blue eyes were as beautiful as her spirit, and her presence is something that will never be forgotten She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Eugene “Gene”, Betty, Linda, and Penny; her daughter Patricia; her granddaughter Portia; and her beloved dogs Mistie and Kayla She is survived by her loving husband Rick; her son Brian; her children Debbie Dee, Ricky Jr , and Jake; her daughter-in-law Joanna; her cherished grandchildren Courtnie, Chelsea, Josh, David, Cody, and Jaden; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews She is also survived by her brothers David, Kenny, and Grats; her sister Vivian; and her adopted sister Emily Marcia was deeply loved She loved life, she loved her people, and she gave that love freely and fully That love will continue to live on in every life she touched Marcia passed away at 8:19 a m on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Rose Arbor Hospice, holding Rick’s hand Cremation has taken place per her request There will be no funeral at this time A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rose Arbor Hospice in memory of Marcia Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this time

“POST EASTER”

“But Chr ist has indeed been raised from the dead, the first-fr uits of those who have fallen asleep” I Corinthians 15:20

What is the lasting significance of our Lord’s r e s u r r

o m t h

d e a

? W h i l e t h e resurrection of Jesus Chr ist has been debated, disputed and denied, it has also been believed, affir med and celebrated In fact, the resurrection of Jesus Chr ist is the one tr uth that separates Chr istianity from all other religions It was the central message of the First Centur y Church which continues to this day

Apostle Paul posed a question which all of us must respond to What if He had not been raised? Paul stated five dreadful consequences for not believing in the resurrection as follows: (1) Our preaching is in vain (2) Our faith is useless (3) We are false witnesses (4) We are still hopeless sinners (5) Those who have died are lost forever (I Cor inthians 15:12-18)

“But Chr ist has indeed been raised from the dead, the first-fr uits of those who have fallen asleep” (I Cor inthians 15:20) The ter m first-fr uits is the first par t of the har vest which faithful Jews brought to the temple as an offer ing (Leviticus 23:9-14) Just as they were a sign of the har vest to come, the

resurrection of all believers in the time to come

Jesus said, “Because I live, you shall live also” (John 14:19) It is a fact that our Lord’s resurrected body is the patter n of our future resurrected bodies as believers (I Cor inthians 15:35-44; Philippians 3:20, 21)

Dur ing these days of Post Easter, we live with the glor ious tr uth that our preaching is not in vain; our faith is not useless; our witness to our Living Lord is tr ue; there is hope for all sinners and one day we will live forever with Him and all believers in Heaven above

Prayer: Dear Lord, we are living witnesses of Your resurrection In Your strong name Amen.
