Dar passed away Tuesday, February 10 2026 at Stanford Lodge in Plainwell He was born December 6, 1951, in Holland the son of Willis and Hilda (Albers) Lampen Dar proudly served his country in the Air National Guard He began his career in the grocery business, was a truck driver delivering bread for Oven Fresh for 10 years then worked at Perrigo for 20 years After retiring in 2020 he worked at Culver’s in Otsego Dar loved watching the Chicago Cubs and telling dad jokes He liked listening to talk radio and watching court TV Darwin was a man of faith and found comfort studying the Bible On May 12, 1972, in Holland, he married Linda Jalving who survives Also surviving are his brother, Wayne (Jane) Lampen; brothers-in-law, Stuart (Joann) Jalving and Bob Jalving; sister-inlaw, Audrey Jalving; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends Kevin Smith and Mike Cramer He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Joshua and sisters, Joyce (Floyd) Boerman, Faith (Myron) Hoffman and Verna Mae (Ken) Berens According to his wishes cremation has taken place Friends may visit with Dar’s family starting at 1:00 P M, Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Friendship Wesleyan Church in Plainwell, until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 P M , with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating Contributions in memory of Dar may be directed to Friendship Wesleyan Church or Centrica Care Navigators

Carol A Richardson passed away peacefully at her home in Gobles on February 10, 2026, at the age of 83 Born on January 4, 1943, in Mattawan Township, she was the daughter of Eugene and Ida (Campbell) Blesing A graduate of Gobles High School in 1960, Carol began her career at National Water Lift, where she worked for approximately seven years before turning her full attention to raising her family In 2007, she discovered her passion for baking and opened Richardson's Many Shop, a bakery that she operated out of her home Carol's interests extended far beyond her baking She enjoyed reupholstering furniture and was a dedicated member of the Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, using her skills as a certified trainer to provide companionship and joy to those in need, including veterans and children Her love for the outdoors and remarkable work ethic were only matched by her affection for dogs, especially her beloved fur angels A true people person, Carol embraced life with open arms, making friends effortlessly and spreading warmth wherever she went She is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Richardson Jr , whom she married on December 22, 1978, in Kendall; her children, Adam (Laura) Adams and Hope (Theron) Sutton, as well as four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Walburn along with several nieces and nephews Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Barry Blesing, and her granddaughter, Kyra Sutton According to her wishes cremation has taken place A time of food and fellowship will be held from 12-2PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Otsego Church of God Contributions in memory of Carol may be directed to the Al-Van Humane Society Arrangements by Winkel Funeral Home - Otsego Messages of condolence may be posted at www WinkelFuneralHome com

Donald Jay Sheldon the 2nd passed away in the early morning on January 21, 2026 at the age of 54 He was the husband and best friend to Donna Lynn (Daniel) Sheldon They shared 33 amazing years together Don was born in Plainwell, MI but lived in Shelbyville He attended Martin Public Schools until the eighth grade when he had to drop out to help take care of his family when his father could no longer do it
This is what Don made his life about - being a good Dad, Husband and Papaw He really enjoyed hunting fishing golfing and going to the casino but his favorite past time was spending time with his family Don will also be remembered for being a jokester; the more he cared for you, the more he picked on you Ask anyone who knew Don they would tell you that!
