As a working Detailer, you must be extremely thorough in cleaning, polishing, and waxing the automobile, both inside and out, to produce a show-quality level of detail. This position also ensures that all vehicles are prepped for delivery, clean, and on time while adhering to the department delivery schedule. The Detailer will also cautiously move cars on the property organizing them in a presentable manner. For the Custodial part of the job, you will help keep the building/ grounds up in a presentable manner. Successful candidates must:

ADOPTABLE Pet of the Week! is such a darling dog!
Dottie was brought to the Allegan County Animal Shelter as a lost dog on 12/4/23. Since this sweet girl was not reclaimed, she’s been spayed, microchipped, and brought up to date on vaccinations/prevention. The medical team estimates she’s just over 1 year old. This sensitive soul is very scared of the shelter environment. Luckily, she’s very popular among the volunteers and gets to spend lots of time outside playing, going for walks, and snuggling. She’s such a sweetheart and loves making new friends! Dottie would love to join a family with another dog or kids to play with! She’s a bit of an awkward duck who really wants to play with other dogs, but just isn’t quite sure how to go about it. If there is another dog in the home a meet and greet will be scheduled to ensure they’re a good match. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.
Yet, there was a quality about him that prompted Luke, the physician and gospel writer, to say he was a good man. By that I mean decent. Synonyms for the word decency include dignity, morality, civil, courteous, kind and gracious. In short, a decent person is one of sound character. His name was Barnabas, a leader in the First Century church. He was one of the first converts to Christianity and a cousin to John Mark (Colossians 4:10). His name means “The Son of Encouragement” (Acts 4:36) and he lived out his name. One day a man named Saul, a persecutor of Christians, met Christ on the road to Damascus (Acts 9). He was converted and Christ changed his name from Saul to Paul, the Apostle of Jesus Christ. The truth is the church many have never had an Apostle Paul without Barnabas. Why? After his conversion he wanted to help in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. The problem was the people did not trust him. It was Barnabas who said something like, “I believe in you! I trust you! You can work with me!” Another example of his goodness was when he wanted to give John Mark, a boy at the time, a second chance. He had accompanied Paul and Barnabas on their missionary journeys. Apparently the young boy got home sick and left them. Paul considered him a deserter. Later, Paul objected when Barnabas wanted Mark to rejoin them. This caused Barnabas and Paul to part company (Acts 15:36-39). If it had not been for Barnabas, we may have never heard of Mark, the author of the first Gospel. The point: Whether it be in our homes, our churches, our schools, our businesses, our communities or in the world of politics, we need more people like Barnabas.

Of course, our goodness stems from our personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. Goodness is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people…” (Galatians 6:10).
When people listen, God speaks. When people obey, God acts. When God acts, people are changed.
Decency: Let us live out this word in our lives and help to make the world a better place.
Praise the Lord! O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Who can utter the mighty doings of the Lord, or declare all his praise. Psalm 106:1-2 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved. I ask Euodia and I urge Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. Philippians 4:1-2 REFLECTION: This is the last letter Paul writes to the Philippians. He tells them that the joy and the love he shares with them is because of the Lord. He urges them to have Christ fixed firmly in their minds and hearts as they make decisions. He has a sincere affection for them because they are his crowning work among many churches. He is delighted they are persevering in their faith in God. His hope is that the Lord will continue to reward those who he has crowned with glory. Paul urges them to continue to hold fast to Christ, which is essential for a church to remain healthy and faithful. Philippians 2:16 It is by your holding fast to the word of life that I can boast on the day of Christ that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Paul’s church, like any church, will have quarrels and disunity from time to time. Paul had faith that these two women, Euodia and Syntyche, would work out the problem through their faith in Christ. To overcome our divisions, we must have a mind and heart of Christ. That means the Holy Spirit works through the Word of God which then becomes the voice of reasoning and wisdom. PRAYER: I praise you Lord Jesus and I give thanks for your steadfast love which endures forever. I pray to continue to have my mind and heart changed. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
