And people, after the first shock/horror, are engaging in the wishing game — wishing that sanity will prevail and our ever-so out-of-kilter eco system will return to the balance. Seemingly anything goes on the grounds of the economy without any thought of what is being left in its wake and what we are doing in the long-term.
