Afteranemergencyroomvisitthatresultedinthepatientbeingsenthome, Karenwasstillconcernedaboutthepatient'sconditionandcontactedthe theironcologyteam.Toemphasizetheurgencyofthesituation,shepaida visittotheoncologyoffice Dr HarrisonwassoimpressedwithKaren's diligence,hecommendedherforherexceptionalcareandarrangedforthe patient'sdirectadmissiontoParkridgeHospital.
Karen'scommitmentdidn'tstopthere.Shefollowedupovertheweekend, coordinatingwithDr Harrisonandthepatient'sfamilytoensurehewas properlyadmittedandreceivingthecareheneeded.
