Welcome to Your Place, your newsletter about Place Shaping on Whitebirk.
Development update
Our contractor, Seddon Construction, is making strong progress across all 10 sites. A new haul road has now been created within the park area, allowing work to move ahead smoothly without blocking Worcester Road. This keeps the estate accessible and helps reduce disruption for residents.

Soil removal is almost complete across every site, including the park, paving the way for the next stages of development. One site has already had its foundations completed – a great milestone as the new homes start to take shape.
Work is also underway to prepare for the new access road, which will support the development as it moves forward. There will be some temporary road closures during certain phases, but we’ll keep these as short as possible and make sure residents are informed in advance.
Piling work has begun on several sites too. This can be noisier than usual, and we’re doing everything we can to minimise the impact. Nearby residents will have received a letter explaining what to expect.
We know construction can bring some inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience and support as this exciting project continues. These new homes will make a real difference to the community, and we look forward to sharing more updates soon.
