Pickleball is the U.S. fastest-growing sport and it is quickly becoming a favorite pastime for Common Hope students and sta in Guatemala! The enthusiasm for this fast and fun activity has grown to the point where it has been included as a new extracurricular activity for our students!

Extracurriculars are important to help young people build con dence, learn teamwork, and develop critical thinking skills. The winning bidder will also become the o cial sponsor of the 2023 Common Hope Pickleball Tournament and will receive a custom pickleball package with one-of-a-kind pickleball paddles and t-shirts to wow and stand out on the courts! Donations for this live auction item will fund youth programs and provide afterschool activities like sports, music, art, robotics and so much more to more than 1,000 kids!

CAROL MILLER JOINS US FROM KURT JOHNSON AUCTIONEERING

Award winning professional auctioneer Carol Miller specializes in bene t auctions and fundraising. Carol’s customized mission-driven approach and engaging dynamic auctioneering style have raised millions of dollars for nonpro ts and charitable organizations for over two decades.

A committed educator, mentor and advocate for the auction industry, Ms. Miller is an active leader in the National Auctioneers Association. She has served as president of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association. Carol was inducted into the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame in 2015. She was a nalist in the International Auctioneers Championship in 2013 and won the Wisconsin State Auctioneering Championship in 2010.

Carol is has achieved the prestigious Certi ed Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation, which is the highest level of educational designation for auctioneers, only three percent of auctioneers nationwide hold this professional designation. Carol has also earned the Bene t Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) designation; only 250 auctioneers worldwide have achieved this honor. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse.
