All foods are approved Hechsherim including Heimishe companies. Participating families pick up a grocery distribution from Yad Ezra once a month, usually lasting 3 weeks.
Rooted in our Jewish values of chesed and tzedakah, Yad Ezra welcomes all who are in need—without judgment and without barriers. It does not matter if you receive any other services. We are here to serve with dignity, because helping others is not just our mission—it’s our mitzvah.

• Check that you have working carbon monoxide detectors in your home.
• It is recommended that every home have at least one UL-listed carbon monoxide alarm near all sleeping areas and outside individual bedrooms.
• Extreme caution should be used with gas ovens that are left on for long periods of time (ie Shabbos, Y”T). Carbon monoxide can climb to dangerously high levels in a very short time.
• Being that on Shabbos and YT gas ovens tend to be left on for extended periods of time, be sure to leave a couple of windows open.
• If multiple members of your family are experiencing the following symptoms: lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea and the like, IMMEDIATELY get to fresh air and seek medical attention!

Regular stretching of the pectoral muscles and gaining flexibility in the thoracic spine helps prevent rounded back and shoulders. I recommend stopping for a minute every day for a simple Doorway Chest Stretch when you're near an open doorway:
Place forearms, hands and elbows onto the frame of an open doorway, with your elbows bent, hands about ear level. Take a small step forward with one foot. Lean forward gently until you feel a mild stretch across your chest and the front of your shoulders. Maintain this position for 15–30 seconds, breathing deeply and steadily. Release and

MUSHROOM AND SPINACH
CAULIFLOWER RICE
INGREDIENTS:
10 oz frozen riced cauliflower
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 cups sliced mushrooms
2 cups spinach
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cook cauliflower rice according to instructions on the package.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and add onions and cook until soft.
Toss in mushrooms and saute until cooked. Add garlic, and stir.
Add cauliflower rice and soy sauce. Stir until cauliflower rice has absorbed soy sauce.
