AyzerTech Public Adjusters has helped property owners recover 10 times their insurance company’s initial offer. “A recent client of ours had a fire in her rental home which damaged and destroyed her personal belongings. The client was forced to stay in a hotel for two months while she attempted to handle the claim process on her own. When the insurance company sent her a check for only $2,400, she called me for help,” said Howard Tkatch, Lead Public Adjuster of AyzerTech Public Adjusters. “Once I stepped in, I reopened the claim with her insurance company. I meticulously read through her policy, calculated hotel and living costs, inventoried contents, arranged for a licensed mitigation company to clean any recoverable items and got her a recovery totaling $33,000.” When disaster strikes your home or business, your first instinct may be to call your insurance company. However, the way you describe the property damage to the insurance company may affect whether your claim will be rejected or how much you will be able to recover. Juggling your insurance claim while trying to run a business or getting on with your life can be overwhelming. Additionally, some insurance companies may deny or pay out minor sums for property claims in order to limit their payouts. While the insurance company will assign an adjuster to help resolve the claim, they are acting in the insurance company’s interests. As a home or business owner you have the right to hire a public adjuster, licensed by the state, to represent your claim. Public adjusters understand the complex details and sometimes difficult to interpret insurance policies. They are experts in the proper procedures for handling claims as well as what the insurance companies are obligated to pay. A public adjuster will represent you. AyzerTech Public Adjusters are licensed in multiple states and have been successful in negotiating residential and commercial claims of all types. They help people deal with the complex and time consuming details of the claim. When it comes time to negotiate with the insurance adjuster they go to bat for you and can make sure you collect everything you are entitled to. The insurance company is focused on their bottom line, AyzerTech is focused on yours. AyzerTech is paid a small percentage of the claim once it is collected which is generally more than made up for by the significant increase in recovery. If there is no collection, there is no fee. If you have had any property damage, such as fire, water or smoke, call them for a no-obligation, no-risk consultation.

855-Claim-55 www.ayzertech.com

Success stories: A fire sprinkler burst flooding a client’s warehouse and office space. Initially the insurance company looked for ways to deny it and then eventually offered $36,000. AyzerTech Public Adjusters ultimately helped recover close to $400,000.

An apartment complex had a small fire in one unit. The property owner underestimated the damage at $50,000. AyzerTech Public Adjusters negotiated a $175,000 settlement.

A commercial property had a sprinkler leak causing mold issues. The insurance company was leaning towards denying the claim completely. Projected costs to just clean up the site were around $90,000. AyzerTech Public Adjusters succeeded in getting the claim approved for clean up and rebuilding and recovered over $1,000,000.

You wouldn’t go to court without a lawyer! Don’t file an insurance claim without AyzerTech Public Adjusters!

GOT STEPS?

by Sharon Green, CPT

If you don’t have a staircase, you may want to find one - in fact just one step with a banister is all you’ll need for an excellent “All-in-Oneâ€?: Calf, Hamstring and Heel Cord stretch, which has greatly enhanced my clients’ comfort, performance and flexibility. Here’s how to do it: With a firm grip on railing, stand on the step on balls of your feet with your heels hanging over edge. SLOWLY sink heels down, lowering yourself, keeping balls of feet on the step. You’ll immediately feel an intense gastrocnemius/soleus (calves) stretch. Stay there 20 seconds, filling your lungs slowly, expanding ribcage, relaxing shoulders. Exhale completely. Straighten legs as much as possible to engage hamstrings. Now, raise high onto toes and hold. Legs are as straight as they go, tuck your glutes, pull tummy in towards spine. Hold with muscles tight (tummy, glutes & legs engaged) for 2 slow breaths. Slowly lower again to starting position. You’ll find 2nd time around easier to perform. Hold again, 2 slow breaths, about 15 seconds, relax upper body. Now bend only one knee. Don’t be in a rush; holding position engages mechanareceptors so you can go deeper into stretch. Switch sides and hold. If done properly, you will immediately feel the benefits of this stretch as you go about your day! 0UV6KDURQ*UHHQLVDFHUWLĂ€HGSHUVRQDOWUDLQHUWKURXJKWKH1DWLRQDO$FDGHP\RI6SRUWV 0HGLFLQH-RLQKHUZHHNO\PLQIXQ IXOOZRUNRXW:HGQHVGD\VSPDWWKH6SHUNDKRPHRQ +DUGLQJLQ62DN3DUN%HJLQQHUVZHOFRPH &35$(')LUVW$LG ,QVXUHG JUHHQVKDURQU#\DKRRFRP 32

Soul Trustee

By: Rabbi Mordecai Kamenetsky When Avraham seeks a wife for his son Yitzchak, he called no one other than his trusted loyal servant, Eliezer. Eliezer was one of the primary soldiers, aiding Avraham during his battle to rescue Lot. Eliezer was considered by Avraham to be his heir apparent until Hashem informed him of the forthcoming birth of Yitzchak. Eliezer was nicknamed the one who drew and watered from his master’s Torah. Simply put, the Torah constantly informs us that Eliezer was Avraham’s right-hand-man. Before sending Eliezer, the Torah tells us that “Avraham told his servant, the elder of his household, who was in complete charge of every one of Avraham’s possessions, to swear that he would not take a girl from Canaan for Yitzchak. Eliezer swore in the name of Hashem, the Master of the heaven and the earth ” (cf. Genesis 24:3). Avraham instructed his most trusted aid to get the proper shidach (mate) for Yitzchak. He was to go back to Avraham’s hometown. The girl had to come from the right family. She must have been raised in the proper environment. And Avraham warned Eliezer that Yitzchak was not to leave the Land of Canaan. His charge was forceful. He made his trusted servant swear. He used strong language. “Be careful – watch out! Lest you bring my son there!” (Genesis 24:6) The Torah’s reiteration of Eliezer’s domestic position in this context is perplexing. Isn’t the juxtaposition – the glorifying of Eliezer’s position as ” the elder of his household, who was in complete charge of every one of Avraham’s possessions “contradictory with the severe scrutiny and pressure that Avraham placed on him in reference to Yitzchak’s matrimonial requirements? If Avraham trusted Eliezer for his entire worldly possessions, why did he make him swear in this instance? And if he had to swear in regard to Yitzchak, then why define him here as “the elder of his household, who was in complete charge of every one of Avraham’s possessions”? Isn’t the fact that he had to swear, obvious evidence that he, in fact, was not in charge? Rabbi Yisrael Lipkin of Salant, once stayed at an inn. The inn was quite crowded and the innkeeper realized that he was low on meat. Seeing a distinguished and pious-looking Jew with a beard, the innkeeper approached Reb Yisrael. “Are you perhaps a shochet? You see, I am running low on meat and I must slaughter a cow.” Reb Yisrael was taken aback. “I would love to help,” he stammered, “but unfortunately I am not a ritual slaughterer.” The next morning Rabbi Lipkin approached the innkeeper. “I have a tremendous business opportunity. If you were to invest a few hundred rubles with me, I can guarantee a nice return.” The man looked quizzically at the rabbi. “Reb Yid,” he stammered. “I hardly know you! How do you expect me to invest with you? Give me a few references, and as many days, and let me check out the deal in its entirety. Then we can meet and I’ll make my decision.” “Aha!” Exclaimed the great mussar luminary. “Just yesterday, you were about to trust me with the ritual slaughter of your cow. You were going to feed you guests with that meat based on the appearance of my frock and beard. Nevertheless, you would not invest a few rubles on those same grounds. Shouldn’t one treat his spiritual skepticism on the same level as his financial uncertainties?” The Be’er Mayim Chayim explains: the Torah specifically states, in the context of Avraham’s admonitions, that Eliezer “was the elder of Avraham’s household, who was in complete charge of every one of Avraham’s possessions.” When buying stocks and bonds, when investing in real estate, when purchasing appliances or furniture, Eliezer had free reign. Yet when it came to Yitzchak’s future that esteem was not enough. Avraham made Eliezer swear in the name of Hashem that he would bring a suitable wife for Yitzchak. Avraham’s concern for spirituality and his future were by no means on the same level as those he had for his mundane needs. True, Eliezer was in complete charge of every one of Avraham’s possessions. But when it came to Avraham’s future, when it came to spiritual decisions, even Eliezer was suspect. For when it comes to your spiritual needs, your sole trustee can never become your soul trustee.
