We would like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who contributed during the week of Rabbi Hershel Klainberg Z”L’s Shiva.
From the meals that were arranged to the beautiful minyanim that took place at our house.
The outpouring of Chessed was a true Kiddush Hashem.
Our husband/father and Zaidy, touched the lives of the many Talmidim/Chavrusos and friends that he came across, during his time in the Kolel, as a Yeshiva Beth Yehudah Rebbe, and his time spent as a chaplain at The Jewish and Chaplaincy Network.
We want to thank you for the stories that were shared about how he touched each and every one of you.
May we share many Simchos together, and merit to grow from the beautiful Torah and Avodah that he stood for.
With deepest gratitude, The Extended Klainberg Family

1 medium cauliflower riced (about 3 ½ cups)
1 small yellow onion - diced super small
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp white pepper
½ tsp sweet paprika
2 large eggs
¼ cup + 1 Tbsp Almond meal Your simcha can become more than a milestone it can become a mitzvah!
1. Preheat oven to 400° and line a heavy baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Cut the end off cauliflower, cut through the core and then break into smaller pieces. Place ⅓ of the cauliflower pieces into the bowl of a food processor fitted with the "S" blade and pulse until the cauliflower is in super small pieces. (The finer consistency will produce more of a roll type texture.)
3. Continue in batches until all cauliflower is "riced."
4. Transfer cauli-rice to a large bowl and mix in salt, pepper, paprika and 1 Tbsp of onions.
5. Beat the eggs until frothy and add to mixture. Mix well. Then add in ¼ cup of the almond meal to soak up the moisture from the eggs. Add another Tbsp of almond flour if the batter is too liquidy.
6. Form mixture into 8 evenly sized balls. Push each “roll” down gently with the back of a fork. Sprinkle with remaining onions and additional coarse sea salt if desired.
7. Bake for 30-35 minutes depending on thickness.
8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
* Already riced cauliflower (fresh or frozen) does not work as well as the pieces are not "riced" small enough to make it a good texture. Pesach Linking our ^ table to yours

His chesed was legendary.
Rabbi Aharon Kotler, zt"I called him a "Gaon in Chesed". His empathy for his brethren in World War II energized him to leave his prominent position as the Rav in Seattle to join the Vaad Hatzalah bringing hope to survivors in DP camps. To emulate his compassion and empathy for fellow Jews, the Ohavei Shalom Tsedaka Fund was established in his memory and sends funds to Eretz Yisroel, bringing relief to many with volunteer representatives.
