Do you spend a lot of time bent over your desk work?

Then you can benefit from a daily dose of postural correction: Welcome to The Prone Cobra: A simple exercise that you can do anytime, without equipment! The Prone Cobra trains several muscle groups: Lower back, gluteals, abdominals, shoulders and upper back.

• Lying face down, squeeze gluteal muscles together as hard as you can comfortably

• Slowly lift chest just off the floor – you don’t need to raise it high

• Externally rotate your arms so that your thumbs point to the sky and away from your body while pinching shoulder blades together

• Chin stays gently tucked so that your neck is long

• Hold 10 seconds. Rest. Repeat, working up to 2 sets of 10x. You should feel like your shoulders have rolled back and your chest is open. Avoid holding your breath or interrupting your windpipe. Breaths should be slow and continuous.

As with all exercise, consult a physician if there is a concern.

INGREDIENTS

4 large zucchini halved lengthwise

2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

¼ cup finely chopped parsley

4 cloves garlic , minced

1/4 cup melted butter

Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a baking tray or sheet with non stick cooking spray.

Arrange zucchini halves, cut side up, on the baking sheet.

Mix together the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley and garlic in a small bowl.

Pour in the melted butter, season with ¾ teaspoon salt and ⅓ teaspoon pepper. Mix the ingredients together until the breadcrumbs absorb the butter (about 40 seconds).

Spoon the mixture over each zucchini half, to evenly cover.

Spray the topping with a little cooking spray.

Bake for 20 minutes until the crust is golden and the zucchini halves are cooked through.

Broil for an additional 5 minutes on medium heat to crisp

Garnish with parsley.
