Begin by lying on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. From this starting position brace your abdominal muscles while taking full, slow breaths. Press your lower back towards the floor if you can. Slowly drop your knees to one side. Keep shoulder blades on the floor. Hold the rotated position for 1-2 seconds then slowly reverse to opposite side. This is not a big movement. The goal is to control motion, not to increase motion.
Progress to the same exercise with feet raised, which increases resistance, requiring greater abdominal contraction. Above instructions apply. Focus on engaging your abdominals and controlling the motion. Work towards 8-12 reps.

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. finely grated peeled ginger
2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
1 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1/2" pieces
2 medium heads broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
Directions
1) In a small bowl, whisk broth, soy sauce, garlic, honey, cornstarch, ginger, and sesame oil until cornstarch is dissolved.
2) In a large skillet or wok over high heat, heat oil. Cook chicken, undisturbed, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown on all sides and just cooked through, about 5 minutes more. Transfer to a plate.
3) In the same skillet over medium-low heat, toss broccoli in broth mixture. Cover skillet and let broccoli steam until crisp-tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
4) Uncover and put chicken and any accumulated juices back into the skillet. Cook, stirring, until sauce is thickened and chicken and broccoli are well coated, 1 to 2 minutes more.
Serve over brown or white rice topped with toasted sesame seeds
