This is Lucie. Every morning, she heads out to explore her surroundings.
And these are Lucie’s jars. When Lucie finds something exciting, she looks at it briefly and places it into a jar.
She labels each jar — “Fir branch’,’ “Soapstone,” “Chanterelle” — and drops it into her backpack.
Lucie is in a bit of a rush. There’s so much to explore and never enough time to see it all!
Still, her backpack grows bigger and bigger.
At night, Lucie lies in bed,
imagining what discoveries tomorrow will bring.
One morning, Lucie heard a voice coming from above.
“That’s quite a backpack you have there,” said the voice. “Who’s there?” said Lucie.
