GDH HAPPENINGS

Dear Family and Friends,

We hope everyone is having an amazing start to 2022! We ran some amazing programs in all of our GDH residences.

This month we celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day by learning about the civil rights movement he led. Houses organized programs to show their individuals the importance of this day and the history behind it.

We also started preparing our Valentine's Day project for the month of February. We will be collecting the cards and distributing them to seniors next month. We are also preparing to celebrate Black History Month, which spans the whole month of February. We have also began preparing and planning a week of festivities to celebrate Mardi Gras!

We hope everyone is staying safe and warm during this winter season.
