Group Day Hab Events June 2021 Greetings Family and Friends, June has been a very active and productive month for all in GDH programs. This month our theme for our programs was "GDH CARES." Each one of our residential programs worked on a community project to distribute to others in need, as well as to our furry friends. It was a very collaborative team effort.

The residential community projects were as follows: -Fairmount Rd. worked on "Bonnie Boxes" . These are boxes that are filled with donated comfort items from our CBS family and were distributed to cancer patients at Sloan Kettering Hospital.

-Henry St. filled boxes of old blankets and animal toys to donate to the local animal shelters and ASPCA. -Willow Dr. donated socks to be handed out to the local community homeless shelter.

-Broad St. and East Hill gathered lots of donated clothes and brought them to the "Goodwill Store in Somers, N.Y. There were many happy recipients as well as big warm smiles on our folks in our programs who were more than happy to be giving to others.

This month we not only cared for others but, we made sure we took care of ourselves by relaxing and visiting our very own "Cultivating Dreams Farm". All the GDH programs enjoyed a fun filled day down at the farm.
