Staff: Two full-time, two dogs and various freelance assistants.

Education: Portfolio Center, Atlanta, Georgia .

Cultural Influences: Everything influences me .

Whether I am traveling abroad or down a country road in my native South or in a grocery store ... l am influenced by it all. The people, the feeling of a place, the music - everything touches me . After all, it is your own mind which must be open to all that surrounds you .

Environment: The center of my business is a studio converted from a barn built in the late 1800s.

Philosophy: Once in a while, in the very ord inary, there is something gritty, pure and beautiful. And once in a while amidst posing, posturing and pretense, there is a moment, essential and true, but so brief that only the trained eye catches it.

This is how I see the world . My appreciation of the elemental and simple is evident. My philosophy of livi ng is expressed elegantly in my photography - rules and things are un important in and of them se lves. Their value is in their quality and the degree to which they are the truth .
