Building Momentum Together

Revive with Fr. Agustino Torres

Franciscan Friar of the Renewal Fr. Agustino Torres, along with professional actress by day, youth minister by night Solanyi Rodriguez, wade through some of the biggest Catholic conundrums and catechesis fails, all through the lens of the source and summit of the Faith: the Eucharist. Join Fr. Torres, Solanyi, and their special guests for honest conversations on how to right-size, recommit to and revive our understanding of the Mass and relationship with Jesus with a little humor and a whole lotta love.

Adult Confirmation Program

The Archdiocesan Adult Confirmation Program is designed for practicing adult (18+) Catholics seeking the sacrament of Confirmation, who have been baptized, have received their first Holy Communion, and have been educated in the Catholic faith through Catholic Schools or religious education programs.

The Archdiocesan Adult Confirmation Program will present an overview of the essentials of the Catholic faith. Through presentations, group discussion, reflection and prayer, the sessions will cover Sacred Scripture and Tradition, the Creed, prayer and spirituality, the Church, Catholic social teaching and the meaning of the sacrament of Confirmation.

Cathedral Prep is a program for high school boys to explore the Catholic priesthood. Meet real priests and seminarians, ask questions, and explore New York from a Catholic perspective through pilgrimages and field trips.

Active Parenting Workshop in Spanish

The Office of Family Life will be hosting a Training of Trainers Active Parenting Workshop for Family Life lay leaders and those interested in establishing or enhancing a parent’s ministry in the Spanish Language. This event will take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at St. John’s School - 3143 Kingsbridge Avenue, Bronx, NY, 10463.
