April 2024 Bulletin EVENTS AND INITIATIVES

Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has loved me and given himself up for me.

GALATIANS 2:20

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Risen Lord Jesus. Alleluia.

During this Eastertide, the liturgical season of 50 days from Easter Sunday to Pentecost, we rejoice in the glory of our Lord’s resurrection. We approach the celebrations and observances of this time of year with hearts overflowing with gratitude for the gift of our salvation.

As we reflect during this Easter season, many of you are looking forward to the quieter days of summer ahead. This means vacation plans, family trips, and the slowing down of routines. Here at the Catholic Center, the building will remain buzzing with activity as our mission presses onward without pause. While making plans for the months ahead, make sure you also carve out some time for quiet prayer and spiritual nourishment.

I hope you find restful renewal in the transcendent serenity of our Lord.

Reverend Monsignor Joseph P. LaMorte, VG Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia
