Kindly donated by Value of Comberton Village College (CVC) Trust Fund

The Friends of Comberton Village College (CVC) Trust Fund was established in 1984. We are a group of parents of past and present students, friends and governors of the College. Our aim is to generate additional funding to support the work of CVC, both for its pupils and the wider community. Supported by CVC staff and pupils we work voluntarily behind the scenes to help raise funds for the College’s worthy projects. As a registered charity all funding we receive is used exclusively to improve resources and equipment at the College and make opportunities more widely available. The Friends of Comberton Village College Trust Fund welcome your support. If you think you have what it takes to make a difference and are interested in raising funds for worthy causes, or just want to help out more generally, we’d certainly like to hear from you……. If interested, please contact us at: Friends@CombertonVC.org http://www.combertonvc.org/friendsofcvctrustfund At Comberton Village College, The Cabin supports children with Asperger’s and high–functioning autism enabling them to attend mainstream lessons and fulfil their potential. We help them gain the confidence and skills they need to grow into adulthood alongside their peers so they can have the same the expectations as everyone. To help the children feel a sense of belonging and well-being, they have a base in two Portakabins which provide both a safe place to retreat to as well as an area to relax in and act as study centres for the pupils. These rooms and their contents are desperately in need of renovation and repair. We are raising funds to significantly improve the environment for the children the school support and also to help them develop their social, communication and life skills. As part of the fundraising, one of our staff, Louise Lancaster, and her husband, Tim, also parents at the school, are part of a team taking on the Tough Mudder sponsored challenge on 27th April. Tough Mudder is a 12-mile cross country army assault course with challenging obstacles such as swimming through ice tunnels, electrocution and crawling through mud. If you would like to sponsor Louise or donate directly to The Cabin at CVC, please visit our BTmyDonate site. https://mydonate.bt.com/events/toughmudderlouisetim 2
