Welcome to the Adult Education Programme at Comberton Village College 2013/14.

We strive to provide a high-quality and varied programme of courses at a very competitive price (our fees have remained the same for six years), taught by well-qualified and enthusiastic tutors. Activities take place in the daytime, evenings and on Saturdays and we do hope you will find something here to interest you. Please let us have comments and feedback on the courses you attend and ideas you may have for future programmes; we greatly value your feedback. In the meantime we look forward to seeing you in 2013/14.

Course Information and Tasters

Do please come and try a session if you are unsure but please book first.

Enrolment and Payment

Please enrol at Comberton Village College for all courses, including those in Cambourne. Fees can be paid by cheque, cash or debit card. Payments are often not processed until classes are viable but please assume the class is running once payment has been sent, unless you hear to the contrary. Please send an SAE or email contact for confirmation or a receipt.

Term Time: 9.00–4.00pm Mon–Thurs &

7.00–9.30pm Mon and Wed.

Summer Holiday: 9.30-12.30 Mon-Thurs.

Please note that we are closed in other school holidays.

Refunds Only available if we close a class or you withdraw at least two weeks before the start. In the latter case there is a £5 administrative charge. Classes cancelled by us due to circumstances such as snow or tutor illness will be replaced with an extra class at the end and no refund will be available.

Concessionary Fees (25% discount) Available if you receive a means-tested benefit (evidence to be provided). You can also pay by instalments, please ask.

Access to Learning Fund Financial help is available from this fund for anyone who is not receiving benefits but who wishes to apply for the concessionary rate due to their financial circumstances. Please contact the Adult Education Manager (Diana Cook).

Fitness for Health Programme at Comberton If you are recovering from an illness, stroke, operation, mental health problem or other medical condition that might respond to regular exercise, you can join this daytime programme (please obtain a referral from your G.P. or health worker initially). Participants follow an individual programme in our fitness suite, CB3. We also run a chair-based class on Mondays for the less physically mobile.
