WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A HUMAN BEING ON THE PLANET? The questions at the heart of the humanities – how cultures and societies work, how ideas about power and beauty and freedom and justice and creativity (and so many more) have emerged over time. What it means to be a human on this planet at this time is not a question owned by one discipline or major. At Otterbein, we explore the depth and vitality of the humanities in active classrooms, through hands-on experiences and travel – ways that make you understand how the humanities connect things. DR. PAUL EISENSTEIN, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences Otterbein University
Explore the Humanities at Otterbein • English - Majors in: Creative Writing; Literary Studies; English Education • History and Political Science - Majors in: History; Global Studies; Political Science; Public Administration; Criminology • Modern Languages and Culture - Majors in: Spanish and Latin American Studies; Spanish Education • Religion and Philosophy - Majors in: Religion and Philosophy More at Otterbein.edu/Major

Parkside Village...Where you come to LIVE!
Proudly Celebrating 5 Years in the Westerville Community! When we opened in April 2012, our vision was to change the Senior Living industry, and that is what we have done!
WE HAVE A LOT TO BE PROUD OF… • LONGEVITY OF OUR STAFF – We’re here because we love our residents! In fact, we were named a 2017 Top Workplace by Columbus CEO.
• GREAT REPUTATION – Our focus is our residents, and because of that, our reputation speaks for itself!
• PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY – Our extensive Life Enrichment programs enable our residents to be active within the local community.
• BEAUTIFUL VIEWS – We have the best of both worlds...a beautiful country setting, but close to all of Westerville’s amenities.
• NEW ADDITIONS – We broke ground in December 2016 in response to the request for additional independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments. We look forward to opening our new addition in early 2018!
But most of all, we are proud to have the
BEST RESIDENTS IN TOWN!
