Mark D. raisch, D.D.S. At Advanced Dental Wellness, Dr. Raisch and his team are always looking for ways to evaluate and treat patients in the most friendly, gentle way possible. For example, one of Raisch’s areas of focus is precancer screenings. He also offers relief to those with sleep apnea who aren’t comfortable using a CPAP machine. “We can build a dental appliance that helps reposition the lower jaw forward to make sure that patients keep breathing well through the night,” he says.

Other treatments that typically involve multiple visits are streamlined at Advanced Dental Wellness to make it easier on patients.

“One of the biggest problems we see are cracked and broken teeth, and here, we are able to rebuild those teeth with ceramic restorations in one appointment,” Raisch says.

“We use digital impressions and a machine

called CEREC to create a precise piece of ceramic to fit the tooth. Then we bond that ceramic to the tooth. In most cases, we can preserve more of the original tooth structure.”

Dr. Raisch is a pioneer in this technology as one of the first dentists in the Columbus area to embrace this technology.

The team at Advanced Dental Wellness also provides general dental care, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontic services and more. “I put a lot of hours into continuing education to keep learning what is new in technology, techniques and materials, and how they can benefit my patients,” Raisch says. In fact, he does more than 100 hours of continuing education every year.
