Annual Auction is quickly approaching One of the biggest events put on by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce is sure to be a wonderful evening. The Annual Auction will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, and will feature a variety of fabulous items to bid on. The Auction will be held at the luxurious Pinnacle Golf Club beginning at 6 p.m. and concluding at 10:30 p.m. Meyers Jewelers is once again the presenting sponsor of the evening and helping to make the night unforgettable. This year’s event will feature a Christmas theme and is concentrated on “Making a Difference.” Some of the proceeds are designated to benefit the South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation, providing scholarships for individuals pursuing a college degree in a business-related field. So, by participating in this event you truly will be making a difference. The rest of the proceeds will go toward the educational programs that are provided to our valuable members. The Annual Auction is catered by Pinnacle Golf Club and draws in a crowd of about 200 people each year. Some feature items that will be served at this year’s event are crab cakes for appetizers and petite filet and salmon with plum sauce for the main course.
