Grove City Chamber to host 32nd Arts in the Alley The 32nd Annual Arts in the Alley Music and Arts Festival will be held 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, in Grove City’s Historic Town Center. Parking and admission are free. Hosted by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, more than 100 juried exhibitors will display and sell fine art, photography, jewelry, crafts, fabric art, glasswork, pottery and wood creations. Many of these exhibitors will be returning to Arts in the Alley from previous years, but there will also be a lot of first time artists. A variety of musical entertainment will also be featured throughout the weekend on several stages. The festival will begin with the Arts in the Alley Parade hosted by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Grove City Girls’ Club at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. The parade will begin on Southwest Boulevard, go south on Broadway, east on Columbus Street and disperse at Park Street Intermediate School. Artists will participate in a number of shows: the Craft Show, Fine Arts Show, Youth Art Show, Quilt Show and Photography Show. Each show has its
own rules and awards. T h e awards include the prestigious Grove City Easel Award, the annual art award for the City of Grove City’s permanent art collection. Children can create free, makeand-take arts and crafts at Kids’ Fun Street.
